I'm in the exact same boat. I came here trying to figure how to get to the new levels. Oh well. I'm not too mad because I want to support this game in hopes they make a new one. I'm really hoping they do time travel again.

I just bought it and was totally dissapointed it didn't have any new levels accept for the new mode. Sort of lazy imo, but it was only a couple dollars so whatever.

Although the price is right and the Survival could be fun. I am afraid this DLC will die very very quickly, unlike the DLC to Streets of Rage 4 which was brought to us by these same people. Sadly they did not go with the same amazing formula when it comes to the rogue light elements of the survival mode. First and for most, there are no new move sets for the turtles or any other characters, therefore you are locked playing the exact same way you've been playing the game since last year, sure there are 2 new characters added but that is about it. If we compare this to Streets of Rage DLC: All the 5 main characters got a new sets of moves (5 alternate moves for each character) in addition to the 3 added characters which also came with double move sets (10 moves in total per character) Not only that, also the unlockable 13 classic characters all got new move sets as well. which raises exponentially the replay value of the game and its survival Furthermore, unlike the Turtles survival, the Streets of Rage survival is far more fun for the simple reason that your power ups collected along the way stack up offering unmatched fun and synergy the higher you go in each run. Sure you get to play as Shredder or Bebop/Rocksteady for 2 rounds here and there with the Turtles survival, but powerups are not only dull but also last only 3 rounds or less. The gameplay in the survival of the turtles remains stale and boring all along the run and ranking up the characters does not seem to impact the gameplay that much either, sure you will last a bit longer with an extra life and some more health points and a bigger special meter. but there are barely any hazards and elements are added besides the pits which as you pointed out, were annoying rather than fun. In conclusion the DLC is not bad per say, however like I mentioned in the beginning it will die very quickly.

The price changes on Nintendo Eshop. Sometimes 4.50 Sometimes 7.99 Good fun though if you 100% the story mode etc.

I don't remember Karai being in ANYTHING until the 2012 Nickelodeon Ninja Turtles series. Especially in games. I have Tournament Fighters, and I don't remember her in it. Then again, I don't remember anything about that game.

I hate the notion of levelling up in beat'em ups so damn much. This is a genre built around its gameplay, right? You're supposed to learn positioning, timing, combos and whatnot to succeed - so then why does it ultimately boil down to a simple numbers game in so many modern examples of the genre? It negates the whole point of this style of game.
