Congrats, awesome addition to the collection. Love the 360 view of the box. That picture frame is on point, the 3D look is what sets it apart. I also agree, having the sealed game I would be hard pressed to open it as well, and probably play a digital download too. Love the VHS box, been debating getting a VCR again, so many great titles I had on tape back in the day. The mini arcade really set it on another level, it even had 2 player. I'm definitely a sucker for strategy guides. I'm starting to get a collection of em, they really let you explore the game deeper. Thanks again for the video, loved it.

I've been getting games from LRG since they started and I've recently stopped getting box sets. Everything in those boxes are produced by separate companies. One of my orders took a full year because it was waiting for a signed certificate of authenticity. When I got it, some of the items were covered in dust because it was ready months before the final piece 😂 I understand why things take long but I'm running out of room and standard editions ship months earlier. Now iam8bit.. Ive been waiting 13 months for a game that went to retail 10 months ago and the only difference is stickers & pins

LRG is a small company. Has about 8 to 12 employees. That is the primary reason. Also based in NC, the closer you live to them the quicker you get it. 6 to 9 months is my average wait. Hope this helps.

Dope room set up and limited-edition package. I still have a few of the old school TMNT original toys. I purchased this game on steam last year. I already beat the game on easy or normal. The game is tough as hard dough bread to beat. I ended up buying the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Shredder's Revenge Dimension Shellshock DLC this year. I haven't played it yet. I have the Usagi Yojimbo game on steam, which is an old school remake from older computer operating systems back in the day.

Limited run is a preproduction preorder. Nothing is made yet. This one did take a while though for supply chain issues... Their sales model is better than it was originally. The open preorder is a breath of fresh air compared to missing out on a game within 1 minute of it going up sale... So many holes in my limited run vita collection.

I’ve been buying from LRG since 2020 and just made my 12th purchase from them. Tbh it wasn’t so bad back in the beginning but the last handful of purchases have been rough on the turnaround time. I just got River City Girls 2 maybe a month ago and I ordered that back in October. 10 month turnaround time is a bit rough. I have only purchased standard editions, however.

I got my Radical Switch Edition about a month ago as well, and it was the last thing that I preordered from LRG. Before that it was the Scott Pilgrim KO edition which I put in for back in Jan of 2021. I didn't get it until mid March of 2022. I loved TMNT as a kid back in the early 90s and I still enjoy a good TMNT game today. But there's a time: fashionably late vs. ridiculously, hilariously late. I quit buying from LRG months ago and I still have 3 or 4 items that are still in production that haven't shipped. Honestly, I really like extras when it comes to special editions: special wall art, figures or exclusive vinyl pressings, etc. and that's what attracted me to this package. This game nonetheless is great and plays such homage to the favorites from whence I was a kid. Otherwise, I'm not sure if I'll pre-order from LRG again unless they have it stocked and on hand ready to go. It's a real shame because I've given them so much of my money for some genuinely good stuff that's super exciting and or that I'm nostalgic for.

Nice unboxing, you have a cute sounding voice too. 😊 I did an unboxing to this too, my first LRG purchase I definitely see why people have issues with the long wait, I kind of feel this was worth 150-175 at most IMO but still much better than the Cowabunga Collector's edition imo which that wasn't worth 150, which I initially missed out on thanks to Target's incompetence but thankfully that was a blessing in disguise as I found it 5 months later brand new for Switch on ebay for 75 bucks, so I guess good things come to those who wait really is true in some cases haha. So are you getting the TMNT soundtracks LRG's are dropping monthly? You're a big Turtle fangirl I can see haha nice! Being an 80's and 90's kid myself, I too am a huge TMNT fan besides of course MK and Mario lol.

Honestly, because their stuff is usually made really well (QC takes longer, just ask the Kong devs why you shouldn't rush things 🤷) but they end up using 4-6 different companies to manufacture everything they include. Bigger companies ship faster because a) they don't have to sell the product to finance the physical items and b) often are well equipped and capable of doing more in house. It's rumored the fake Pip Boys in FallOut were made like 6-8 months before the game released. So having that cash flow definitely helps expedite everything. Like, I don't think the people who complain about LR (or any other small company) really get the logistics of designing, relegating, overseeing, receiving, and shipping literally thousands of separate pieces (not including making the packaging in a way it's both clean and fits everything in the box).

I've ordered one thing from Limited Run and it took a little over 2 years to get it. I did not feel it was worth it buy the time I actually got it. Idk what the deal is but after all this time they should have their stuff dialed in so much better.

Looks more than worth the wait! Just really sucks the wait times are so long for LRG. (Plus being Canadian) I often can't justify the price with conversion. I'm glad for all of the mad turtle fans on this one -- looks amazing! I've enjoyed the game and the new DLC quite a bit.
