Am I the only one who’s having trouble understanding what Mondo Gecko says? His selection quote sounds like “Ready for the marsh pit”, which sounds like it’d be tough to skateboard in, and his victory quote sounds like “Easy, sneezy”. Anybody out there got sharper ears than me?

The speed stat is refering to Combo Speed. I'd imagine it's hard to do fighting combos while skateboarding.
