Got tired of trying to find people and right matches. I did it on my own using two controllers. It’s a hassle but 100% guaranty. Play on gnarly, only using the other controller to spawn refill ur energy and leave. Repeat. You will likely die but before ur main character dies, be sure to spawn using another controller. It’s ok if the main character is showing “game over” as long as u beat the game u get d trophy . Key things is you gonna keep alternating every time u lose a life, use the other controller to spawn a new character and have the old character leave …..rinse n repeat cuz every time u come back with all 3 lives again. If u mess up sometimes, it’s ok cuz there are 7 characters and can allow to lose up to 5 characters. More then that, u can no longer alternate the characters.

I feel proud of myself for beating Gnarly and getting the award by myself. Took about 10 days of doing 1 run a day. I realize its not the hardest game, but it was still pretty hard.

I joined a match at 60%, 6 man team and we were popping off but 5 of us choked at Lvl 15 Shredder. Then outta nowhere, this guy playing splinter clutched the damn game. Literally soloed shredder, lady liberty and half of Super shredder with little to no problem. If it weren’t for him I’d be screwed lmao

Bro i think that i was on your game i was the abril, dude one tip, what makes the deference at end is that everyone need to have 3 o 2 lives because in the super shredder fight is nearly impossible to revive players and one other tip is that if you are with friends if you are on 1 life you can quit and rejoin with a friend invitation to the game and regain the 3 lives

There was this one player who kept joining but never picked a character, so he stayed in the character select on the top of the screen. We were on like level 10, but then by like level 14 he still hadn't picked a character. So I realised he wanted to wait until the final boss so he could then take the glory but contribute with nothing. So I kicked him from the game, but he kept coming back. I repeated that several times, with him finally rejoining AFTER we had defeated Super Shredder. He wasn't able to select a character though, so hopefully he never got the trophy.

First, I joined the game lower than 85% Next, I selected the hardest difficulty Then, I defeated super shredder and some how I did not get the trophy. THIS TROPHY IS TRIGGERED TO ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your difficulty choice doesn't matter when you join a game in progress. You're just gonna have get lucky. just remember the tips from this video, check your starting lives and then see if everyone are taking more damage😀

On PS4, the game "froze" after beating Super Shredder. The cutscene didn't play afterwards and everyone eventually just left the match... no trophy popped.

Man I have beat this game on gnarly arcade mode so many times and haven’t gotten the trophy. I played with someone who didn’t even start yet all the way through and still didn’t get it. I played with people 23% in and still didn’t get it. I’ve seen people saying they joined in on the last level and they got it. What am I doing wrong????

My game kept glitching on the steam version. Only after forcing myself to get good at the game by thoroughly practicing every stage on gnarly in story and plowing through it solo did I get the in game achievement. I earned mine, and I’m proud.

Doesn't seem scummy and actually seems intended like an actual arcade game. Say for eg the host looses his lives and has to quit and then rejoin the server, that is like putting a new coin in the machine. Seems that doing the entire game 100% from start to finish was not intended as they were expecting you to die and rejoin.

the trophy was pop up at the end I check the menu and it was there but somehow when I restart the game it wasnt show that I completed it. Has anyone encounter this situation? I tried 2 times and has the same results

If you mean the in-game trophy screen, I ran into that too. It’s because arcade mode doesn’t save. So after I did it again, I jumped back into story mode and played an episode so that the auto saved hit and it’s since stayed there.

GG ! I don't understand, in my case i played in another player game from level 13 (76%) but achievement remains unlocked :( Edit : Maybe I played on normal (with 3 credits).

I did play the arcade mode on gnarly difficulty which is the hardest difficulty and I did not get the achievement for beating it on the hardest difficulty because I was playing it with other players.

Haha not even remotely scummy this game was made to play with others and thats just a nice bonus. Gnarly is so hard on solo this saved me so much time along with the 2 credir trophy. Plus its really hard to find a full party that sticks with u the whole way online or get booted cause of the laggy network sometimes

Agreed. You have to join, see you have 3 lives, get hit , if you have 2 health points taken, then you know its hard, if one, it's normal.

exactly what mike said! so on easy, it will be 5lives - Normal/Hard - 3lives but on Normal you will take 1hit damage but on hard 3-5 for one hit

I was lucky enough to join a match that was doing the final boss and lucky for me they were on Gnarly. So I just helped with the boss fight and I got the trophy 😂 honestly felt like I cheated for the achievement but hey

I get your point but here is my take on it. in the video he has 1x heart left, He goes down at least twice in my footage... if he dies he has to restart from the beginning again (which is shit) but having new players join like myself has given him a safety net because we can keep reviving him. this allows him to secure his trophy easier and allows players using this method to get this trophy as well. if people don't like this method you can just set your party to friends only.... so if you do die at 80% they can restart from the start.
