Nice to see more BTS on the rig! The first POV video you guys made inspired me to make my own version with just a camera and 16mm f/2.8 and counterweight in the back. The main issue with mine is the bar goes down to the chin, which limits my field of view a little bit and I can't see the screen on the camera to check composition and focus (It's standing upright). The helmet itself is old and heavy but I have a newer, much lighter one where I will make an improved design that allows for me to see the camera screen. I think I'll attach the bar along the sides of the helmet and bring it to the front. Looking forward to seeing more!

It could, but using the manual focus give you much more control on what is in focus!
