I know Sharkboy was a comedy jobber, but I don't think there was ever a time when he wasn't over. Like Sharkboy was basically an institution in TNA from what I remember. He'd show up, usually lose, but as far as I remember, he was always over and good to see. The guy just had something that made it work. Honestly, him beating up Reign and Rellik never really seemed off if only because Sharkboy always had those moments. I think him being in matches like that where he was totally out of place was partially why he was always over now that I think about it.

Not to mention he literally only wrestled bc he WANTED too. Thanks to the “shark boy and lava girl” movie that gave fame to future “twilight” star Taylor Lautner as the titular “shark boy”. Thanks to Dean Roll (wrestler) owning the copyright on the name of shark boy, when that movie was released, he sued Miramax and settled out of court for “an undisclosed but reportedly significant amount” of money. He also appeared on an episode of mtvs “true life”. Reportedly, the amount given in the miramax suit was “more than enough for him to NEVER have to wrestle again”. So he truly did it for the love of the game.

I've been catching up on a lot of your old videos lately. Man, I wish I could hang out with you guys, and have numerous pints with you sometime. Unfortunately, I'm far away in South Carolina.. But I can dream, dammit! You guys are hilarious, and you love wrestling and never fail to make it so damn funny. Then you also like and reference some of my favorite shows, like It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and of course The Simpsons. And you also mention liking many of the rock bands I love. I vaguely remember Judas Mesias in TNA. I remember him appearing, fighting Abyss for like four episodes, and then just disappearing and them not mentioning it again. Which was fairly normal in TNA.

I love how you lads argued for the guts of an hour about the _intent)_ of the wind visuals when I'm at least 95% that Shyamalan had a cool idea for the threat and just didn't realise that there absolutely was no way to visually represent it with respect to it being an imminent danger the main characters - which is a _bit_ of an issue for a horror film - and just went with the best thing he could think of whether it made much sense or not. To his credit, I don't think there _was_ a better way of doing it, since you couldn't have it be some kind of ominous haze without completely ruining the earlier, genuinely great parts in the opening.
