I feel that the biggest wrestling moment that we've been deprived of, during Covid-19, is The Undertaker's retirement (?) thirty years to the date that he debuted, as well as at the very event that he made his debut. Having a crowd there would've been beyond awesome! The things that we take for granted, right!?

Great episode of this week in wrestling history. A couple things I want to point out number one is about the four Horsemen parity and I have seen so many people talk about how they hate Kevin Nash and the other and WO members for doing that, for starters it wasn’t any of their idea. That was a Terry Taylor idea. Also did those same people that were so upset were they just as pissed off when Steve Austin and Brian Pillman did a four Horsemen parody and Mock them and their age? The other thing that I wanted to comment on was the Jeff Hardy incident. He’s right it’s really sad that no one there stepped up and just grabbed Jeff but the saddest part is that if you listen to Eric Bischoff‘s podcast and I think Bruce Prichard has said this too, Dixie Carter, the one running the show was standing right there with everyone and just didn’t say or do anything. She was standing There like a plant, just something in the background and she didn’t say a word.

The Hall of Fame revival was a pretty good line up. I remember my parents being very interested in it when they came out on stage and yes I also bought the dvd when it hit stores. To see the ceremony was interesting for a one off viewing. But the dvd extras were the real meat in the sandwich. Great bonus matches and footage. TNA should not have allowed Hardy to go out to the ring. They could have filmed something that took him out of the match and came up with a good replacement match. Have RVD and Anderson take him out backstage or something like that.

Taker never wanted the match. Thats why he stayed
@Donald_Allan3 жыл бұрын
@@madddoggnogood1491 He never stated that he never wanted the match and back in 2011 the video packages hinted towards that match at wrestlemania 27. However Sting re-signed with TNA and the rest is history. Regarding not wanting the match. He wouldn't want it now because he knows he can't deliver the same caliber level of match he once used to. Here is an excert of his interview with the Comic Book from 2020 where he is asked the question of a match between him and Sting. " What do you say to the fans who, to this day, still hold out hope for a match between you and Sting? Well, in this world, you never say never, but I think as great as it sounds on paper... And it does, I mean obviously that is a super marquee match, right? But where I kind of differ from a lot of people is I look past the marquee value and I look on the ability to deliver. So like you said, there's so many people that are clamoring for that match that I just don't know that the match could deliver on the people's expectations. And the only reason I say that, I'll take full [responsibility], I don't have the mobility or the same skill set that I once did that I would need to make that match great. So there's just certain things, it's better left to the theater of the mind to actually put it out there. And then with the expectations being so high and the match not delivering, it would be a bigger disappointment than the match never happening at all. It's different, but in the same sense of like who's the greatest: [Michael] Jordan or LeBron [James]? I mean, you're never going to know because they're never going to have the opportunity to play against each other. And it's the same thing. That's a great match, but 10 years ago I think it could still happen and it could still be a stellar match. I'm just not sure at this point that it could deliver on the hype."

That showed how far Jeff had fallen. A few years prior, Jeff Hardy was main eventing PPVs over DX, Orton, Cena and Batista. He got far more opportunity than Punk and/or Bryan ever got, and it seemed like he was the closest anyone got to overtaking Cena as WWEs top star at the time, and he decided to piss it away for drugs.
