TNAG Session: Will McNicol Playing an Ervin Somogyi Studio Model Acoustic Guitar

This astonishing acoustic guitar is the Studio model by Ervin Somogyi, handbuilt by Ervin himself in his Oakland, California workshop.
This is the first Somogyi guitar to grace the TNAG website pages, and it's an honour to have received this gorgeous Studio model, which is based on Ervin's Modified Dreadnought but 4% smaller.
What better way to demo this incredible instrument than bringing in our great friend Will McNicol. Here he is playing his Track Rain on Qingming Bridge.

I played one of his mini jumbos at Rudy's yesterday in contrast with Lowdens and a few others...Ervin's really stood out from the crowd..in sound but sadly also in price.

I would like to know the tuning of the guitar. Low 5. and 6. strings a very deep, comparable to baritone guitar.

Very responsive, but I guess it would suck for aggressive strumming. Maybe that is the Martins and Gibsons are for
