For all of you trying to find the length of the 16 ropes. I reversed engendered the project and it goes like this: 50 m to cover the two rings 5 m ruffle to secure the base of the two rings 80 m for the four ropes hanging the chair (4 times 20 m) 4 m ruffle to attach the four ropes together 90 m to braid the higher part of the bigger ring (20 times 4.5 m) 60 m to brain de lower parts of the bigger ring (20 times 3 m) Add up to 289 m. Looking how she install the 16 ropes at the bigining, I evaluate that they are between 1.25 m to 1.5 m. Since they are folded in half, that makes them between 2.5 m to 3 m long. So :48 m for the first 16 ropes (16 times 3 m) That makes the project about 337 m.

Also, you notice that no one ever sits in the chairs to prove they can hold adult weight? I'd love to see that! It'd be so reassuring before I commit 40+ hours to making one. I love this design! Just would love you to answer Qs below and maybe tell if it holds adult weight.

100% can hold adult weight pls, but you have to find the right metal ring as that is the key thing, wooden or plastic ring wont hold heavy weight. The way we weave is 100% can handle it, just the frame that you have to make sure to find strong one

If anyone wants to find Hoops for your hammock that will actually hold a good amount of weight. Try purchasing an aerial hoop.

Blue plastic plumbers pipe, not sure of the technical term. Then you can get these little connector bits (I got mine from a pond shop) to connect the edges together.

I have searched high and low for these craft rings and having absolutely no luck finding any. Any advice ? All I can find are small rings for say dream catchers

Use conduit (the stuff they use to put electrical wiring through on the outside of buildings) and form into a ring. You can cut a cross using a Stanley knife in each end. Mesh the ends together then drill pilot holes on two opposing sides of the join, then screw together. Viola!

@@TNArtCrafts Measurement is not there, everybody is asking you for the same, it shows 16 ropes needed but not the length of each rope. The video has no use without this info.

You never show how to attach the ropes to hang the chair. And sometimes you forget to mention how long to cut the ropes. That’s very frustrating, as I’m creating this project now and am stuck because there are not very clear instructions. Also, that song that plays over and over and over and over has GOT to change every so often, please! Sorry, I’m frustrated and having a bad day. Your work is truly beautiful, however!

Get them made from the local welder. But beware, try to get your own iron rod and give them just for bending. Otherwise it will cost you a lot. I did this mistake and it cost me ₹900
