I love Wil Wheaten. So many people talk about how annoying Wesley was. Honestly Wesley never bothered me! But I was like twelve years old when I first watched Star Trek and I had a huge crush on Wesley. XD Though I am guilty of laughing at the "Shut up Wesley!" jokes. I can't help it.

true, he was a kid and he acted accordingly, I don't think he deserves so much hate and if people really dislike him so much direct that anger at the writer's, not Wil. Its a shame how often kid actors get scrutinised and harsh critique

The seats i got were great! I was pretty much parallel to the 2nd row but on the side. The zoom lens helped a lot (70-300) as i was able to get somewhat close shots of the cast members. I would of captured the awkward moment but like i said earlier, the 1st memory card filled up, it was only letting me record 30 seconds at a time so i had to quickly troubleshoot the issue..

I've been watching through TNG the first time this year. Just started season 7. Tbh, I like Wesley Crusher's character. It's like in John Hughs movies where the kids are always right and the adults are always dumb and oblivious to what's going on. He's smarter and more capable than anyone gives him credit for and he's usually right. I really loved the episode with him and the Traveler.

me too, started watching 2 or so months ago, already started on the 7th season. I like Wesley Crusher's character too, I thought he was very sympathetic and also he reminds me of my younger self. He's really not that annoying and I like that he is not a dumbass like a lot of kid characters, he is given due credit.

I didn't like the Traveler character. However when Wesley says something and Picard says, "Shut up, Wesley" Wesley had been right!

I cant believe we are now at a point (2022) when i watched them growing up in my 20's and thinking one day they will all look like they did in 'all good things' and remember thinking hopefully it would be all sorted the world and peace when we all reached those ages and today now it couldn't be worse as i write this (28/02/2022 with the threat to mankind of Nukes from Russia and the hostility in the Ukraine)..We all need to pull together as a one in the planet and become untied nations to fund and travel further into space...shame we are so far away from that as i write today...hopefully one day someone will be able to put something more positive down and reply to this that 'that was then but this is now' 🖖

It is very sad about what's going on in Ukraine (it's not "the Ukraine") and now Israel. But I think the utopia presented in Star Trek is unrealistic. We don't agree on what right and wrong, good and bad even is, so the idea that we suddenly will one day and stop being individuals is silly to me. But at least the internet is free (at a public library or it's free once you're online) and we have access to more information than people throughout history. I think people should use it to become better and make a difference, instead of stressing out about things you can't control.

Except, Why wasn't the Paris character Duncan whatever McNeil carried through to Voyager. Fucking bothers me. I live in the privileged West so this can bother me, rather than being killed, and above all I appreciate that. I guess....
