I think the general consensus is greengrass's church should have been number 1. Personally it was my favourite and i lf i was judging it would have been in 1. However this is why we have different judges as everyone has their own tastes. Everyone did really well

From my understanding no, no it should not have. It was done in adventure mode, which for my understanding was different from what everyone else was doing, and it's based off of on actual cathedral no originality no creativity just copy and paste with a bit of time consumed. And from what I'm understanding a bit of a nepotism was happening. If everything I heard was true, then the cathedral should have been disqualified from the very beginning.

Not gonna lie, I submitted the camp as a fluke once I saw TNG opened up the competition to older builds. My camp is two years old and I honestly thought it *might* warrant an honorable mention at best. Back then it was certainly a labor of love and all the folks showing up to film was a lot of fun. Thanks for the #1 spot but, while I 100% understand your train of thought, The Cathedral was by far a much more technical and visual masterpiece than mine 🤷🏻‍♂️🙂

There are things I could say... but I won't. There's a lot of great effort in the camps on display here, but simultaneously I have to say the church was #1 for me. I don't know what was submitted this week, but I can't help but feel there were possibly better builds that were passed up for the ones that got in. That's not to say the builds on display aren't nice, but it seems a lot of them are missing the technical difficulty we're used to seeing.

Greengrass' church may very well be one of the best camps ever in my opinion. It's impressive enough to have made the damn thing in the first place, but what's all the more impressive is how the whole structure is perfectly symmetrical. The mind boggles!

I honestly think the build you picked as your choice was my favorite build and i wish we could have seen more of it. That staircase wrapping around the rocks so intricately and the build overall was so unique from what saw.

WTF happened with the judging this week? The church was by far the best and most complicated build this week. The camp in the number three spot looked like a noob build, nothing interesting or mildly challenging about it. The quality was wildly fluctuating between the entries. Maybe better off just sticking with only five camps and go for quality over quantity.

From my understanding the church should have been disqualified from the very beginning. Nuances needed to be had here. From what I understand is that the church is something that already exists, so therefore it was nothing but a copy and paste job with some work put into it to recreate. No creativity whatsoever. For the second offense, it was done in adventure mode which was not the same, from my understanding, for everyone else who did it in a more standard mode with more of a build limit. The third offense is that the builder of the church, including many others, constantly won and from my understanding some nepotism was happening because the builder was in fact friends with the judges. So all-in-all, the church should indeed be honourably mentioned but should be disqualified from actual competition because of said reason that I've stated above. Because the church, including the other same five people that constantly won, did not win and some of them not making top 10, many more entries are being put into the competition. Dear KZbinr I think you infact need to put restrictions on these competitions and rules to make it more fair for everybody else, because you've probably noticed something different from this go-around then the last concerning other competitions of similarity that you have held. You don't have to admit it or message me back saying yeah you're right all you have to do is make these competitions fair as possible.

You're obviously confused about the building mechanics and game modes. That church exists in real life, and the creativity and skill it took to replicate it within our building mechanics is genius. Copy? Please. The competition is as fair as it can be. That's why there are so many different judges. Do you even watch every week? Many different popel have been in the Top 5. Many are repaet winners because they make the most incredible camps. Furthermore TNG has done a phenomenal job with the Top 5 since it was handed over to him. Sounds like you just want to complain about everything. Either build a winning camp and enter, or don't watch. There's a simple solution. If you're so easily triggered by a friendly competition, DONT WATCH IT. Instead of shitting on TNG, the judges, and other's creations, take your ass somewhere else. Clown. SMH.

And furthermore, you are correct in saying that there is friendship between builders and judges. Because, the judges are builders, and most folks in the building community respect each other. We play together, we chat with each other, we share ideas, and as with siblings in a family, sometimes we fight each other. We try our best to involve as many builders into the competition as possible. And if this game ever goes cross- platform, the building community will take on a whole other dimension.
