Balkans are still a mess, albeit a bit less for temporary peace. Commies back in Russia. Central Asia may be independent or part of a new Soviet Union, China is split between multiple factions, Japan is unified, Korea may be split albeit not for long. South East Asia is same like TNO, with maybe small nations like Singapore or Brunei not existing. Oceania is still the same, maybe the island of New Guinea can be united. South America is still the same, with maybe minor nations like Paraguay being split between Brazil and Argentina. In the reality of the book if such a revolt were to occur it'd be a general peasant revolt rather than these ideologically motivated armies restoring pre-1984 states since pretty much all Human cultures and unapproved languages have been destroyed by the state in 1984. Most people can't even remember life before the superstates anyhow. This version of events seems to imply that the world of TNO was spontaneously conquered by 1984's and all of the leading figures are just still around somehow.

It gives the idea that there provinces would have equal power, while in reality there is a centralized authority governing the entire country. That could still mean Britain isn’t even the Capitol, which would make sense logically since Eurasia is in sight across the English Channel. I’m pretty sure in the book the government is claiming that Eurasia is “firing missiles” against Britain, and the actual Capitol would probably be somewhere in the Americas.

It's weird to see some of these resistance factions, since I think it's kind of implied that in the 1984 timeline, many of them converged into the totalitarian super-states. "Immortal Father" of Eastasia, for instance, IS Mao Zedong. The regimes of the the three world powers are implied to be the convergence/synthesis of the different statist factions presented in this mod's resistance.
