What is with parry reversals in this game and not having a recovery animation and short punish windows. Watching Zeta mash her reversal on negative frames and not get punished because of the variable parry window, while also getting a full combo off the heavy version if you do trigger it is just wild. Seox and Lowain are similar but at least they don't get full combos off theirs. Some of the reversals in this game just seem like they have such unintuitive punish windows or minigames around them with dodging/crossover/standblocking etc to actually do anything about them. the downside of those parries, is that button into dodge beats both them and brave counter, which is frustrating on it's own.

Nier is so hard to play for a casual like me but she's my favorite. 😢

Same, She’s my second favorite character in Granblue fantasy, She’s so much fun to play with in this game But it’s so hard to play with her that it feels like u don’t wanna main a character like that, they nerf her so hurt and i understand why but they overdid it she has way too many bad disadvantages, hopefully they buff her and give her really good advantage but don’t make it the same OP THINGS SHE HAD BEFORE

How do you get into this game? I played the demo and it just played bland compared to the competition. I try watching it but although its pretty its also bland feeling after a short while. I adore the community so when they have big tournaments I always watch for the people....but I don't understand why 'they' like it. I love strive 'now' cause of Leffen, but I originally had no idea what was going on to the point where the sensory overload generated little interest....so I'm wondering what the "in" needs to be to like GranBlue. The game content I enjoyed the most was the Nier tournament stuff a few months ago. Nier was by far the most interesting character to watch cause the corner and chip mechanics were exponentially exemplified by her kit...that seems to not be a thing anymore though so I'm at a loss what to try liking.

The in is that it’s easy to execute massive damage combos. If everyone could always execute the hardest stuff possible Blazblue would be the most popular fighting game.

Okay but seriously though idk if you actually like fighting games, dog. You weren’t interested in Strive until some dude you liked played the game, and you were interested in a character that basically ignored the actual mechanics of the game, and now that she is balanced and not broken anymore you don’t want to play the game. Idk how exactly anyone can convince you to give this game a chance.

super easy to pick up and play, but if you are seeking more interesting gameplay just play a more complex character. Or, game might not be for you.
