I don’t know if you caught it, but when Nai and Vash discover their sister (the first independent plant on the ship) in different tubes she was actually still alive. It showed on the monitor. Also it’s not mentioned at all within the series, there is a theory that the eye that was on Nai’s hand when the doctor first found him after the crash, is their sister’s eye. So she was still alive even after the crash. The strong theory is that Elendria, the plant little girl with the power of nails, has 2 different colored eyes because one of them is the sister’s. Basically, Nai gave the doctor a chance to give life to his sister by experimenting with the remaining pieces of her and making Elendria.

My theory is that Knives may have assimilated her into his own being, and the heterochromia in Elendira is due to this, since she was almost definitely made using Knive's DNA.

The crash landing stuff meant that if they landed on a livable planet instead the humans wouldn't be draining the plants (still debatable whether this is valid or not, just it's not the point of being welcomed/forced to land)

Vash is that character who you want to support because he's the mc and is nice plus does cool stuff. Apart from that, he got all the weapons to push the argument in his direction but is not saying anything smart whatsoever. He's literally not saying anything and not trying to change anything. The only person that's worth something in a debate agaisnt Nai is Luida. Hell, Luida and Nai are the characters with the most worth in that series😂

Zazi asked for whether Plants or Humans would be better guests on its world. Somehow I doubt this exponential overgrowth is good for the worms, and Knai probably doesn't care about leaving a place for the worms in his new Eden. Also, Julai being destroyed wouldn't just be a horrific loss of life of the largest city on the planet being crushed under PLANT vines, but all the places that rely on Julai's water exports would be doomed.

Vash said what he said because of the interactions he’s had with humans he knows there’s a lot of ppl that don’t deserve to die and then he knows there’s a lot of ppl that do if he could find a way to convert the ppl that do he would but since he couldn’t he just decided not to kill anyone

the show "the good place" has the theme "people improve when they get love and support, how can we hold it against them when they dont?" the entire theme is that ppl are the product of their environment and their environment often forces cruelty but given the chance, most ppl do improve and choose to do good. i think tristamp could have done a better job of showing how vash tries to help humans and save them instead of immedietly showing the negatives of humans cuz even in bad situations there will be ppl choosing good. it would endear the audience towards him instead of seeing him as just naive they could see his vision and dream or even see how its so much of his love and guilt that drives him. everyone wants help and to be saved especially the broken characters but most dont like watching the character trying to do the saving. thats vash, he's the character telling everyone that "you can be good even if ur past isnt, you have the chance to change. also the creator is/was a catholic i believe and vash very much looks like a stand-in for Jesus which creates an interesting view of the story, im not catholic so idk much about the Jesus lore but im sure there are ppl who have written about it. most media focus on violence so ppl tend to attach themselves to the violent characters, its why characters like vash or aang from avatar are seen as naive and are overlooked and characters like nai and zuko are seen as realists and mature. its always a sad and a red flag to see kindness being scoffed at while a character who's entire goal is gen*cide (and to use both plants and his brother to create more of themselvs even if it means sacrificing his brother and those plants) is said to have a point

That’s why I loved this show. Nai was spitting facts and vash was speaking facts but my cynism tends to Nai’s side but it leaves you wondering. Is this the actual way Got me thinking I’m Plato and shi 😂

No. It wasn’t in the og anime or the manga. Neither really explained what plants are or where they came from so Trigun Stampede tried to give people a little bit of information about their origin with the creator of the manga on board with the story.
