I too, was a latecomer. I watched School idol project and the movie in January 2017 due to raised interest from my friends introducing me to the SiIvaGunner channel the previous month when the CCC was first coming out. The main protagonist is Smol Nozomi and I asked my friends where she was from, to which they responded "Love Live". To which I replied, "Is that an anime or a game?" and they said, "Yes."

Anyone who got into Love Live bc of quarantine? (Gonna go into story mode, tl;dr at bottom lmao) After finally watching Zombie Land Saga in Nov 2019, I was curious about the CG in other idol anime. I was aware of Love Live for maybe 4 years (bc of that Nico Nico nii car meme) but my knowledge was extremely limited (I only knew Nico and I thought she was the protag and I had a very assumption of the show and that was it). I clicked on “Wonderful Rush” and thought “yep this CG is wayyyy better” and I clicked on more vids, specifically “every μ‘s rapping part” and “every μ’s’ WONDERFUL.” I thought that would be it but... the rapping part got stuck in my head and the next thing I knew I had memorized it. It was the start of April and the pandemic allowed for more free time than usual. I thought “maybe I’ll learn the characters so I can identify them and that’s it.” (I had trouble choosing between Umi and Maki but Umi is my FAVE and I have her Boku wa Ima no Naka de Nendoroid aha). A week into April and I was researching things about Love Live and μ’s. I realized I had joined the μ’s fandom 4 years late but I was determined to learn almost 10 years of information. I started with the 6 full PVs (Snow Halation is my fave), I listened to songs while I dried my hair after showering, I watched clips of various live performances (which helped with learning the seiyuus), I doodled them lots and stayed up watching vids of the seiyuus (like on this channel) and this was all happening in a week or two. But I still needed to watch the anime and watch it I did. The first episode made me sympathize with Honoka so much... Susume Tomorrow will always make me feel like happy crying. But I was impatient and saw the movie on YT so I watched it and didn’t understand anything but for some reason, I still felt like crying (Bokutachi wa Hitotsu no Hikari!!! CRIES) I dragged my brother into watching S1 and S2 and it was amazing. (I didn’t know they were gonna sing Snow Halation and I was fecking screaming). It was mid April now and I spent the rest of it continuing to research about Aqours and Nijigasaki. I also made a goal to listen to all the songs from the groups (which I met over the course of 3 weeks I have no life). I tried watching Sunshine (I managed to watch most of the eps to understand the characters and story but I would rewatch it). I still need to watch a play through of LLSIFAS though.. I’m getting to that. tl;dr? And here I am now, almost two months later, still learning new things about a franchise that started a decade ago. When I watch the past live μ’s performances, there’s a love I feel that transcends time. I sometimes think “why didn’t I get into LL earlier?!” But a part of me is glad I didn’t because I got to read the story of a couple of girls living their best life as school idols and then ending it beautifully. I’m watching Aqours and Nijigasaki seiyuu stuff atm and I’m also excited for the new series with Yuigaoka girls! However, like a lot of Love Livers, μ’s will ALWAYS ALWAYS hold a special place in my heart. (brb imma cry now).

I DON'T FEEL AS LONELY ANYMORE!!!!! also, I wish that people would still translate muse content or translate their latest lives or ones where some muse members are together with the other love live seiyuus in like fan meetings or stuff. But copyright matters too XD And I am trying to learn Japanese, though I haven't gotten far.

I discovered Love Live in mid-late 2018 (I am really a late comer lol). I felt in love with the show, mostly because what happened in it also happened to me. I was in a dance group for 3 years, but at last, because we are all 18 year olds, we had to disband, but we let the younger group carry on with our name (we were called "Onix"). I also watched Love Live Sunshine, but I'm still waiting for the film to be translated. Both Muse and Aqours are two great idol groups and they will always remain alive in their fans' hearts. Now, with the new Perfect Dream Project thing (which I think I won't watch tho) and the new game releasing this year, I'm sure that Muse will get back in business at least for the sake of the good old times.

I heard about LL in March 2017 through sif and I almost instantly fell in love with Aqours, watched the anime, listened to their music, watched seiyuu content, lives. How could I not idolize these girls (girls + seiyuus) around my age working so hard to shine like a billion stars ? I used to hate Muse because they were long gone but they were still number 1. Some fake fans were hating (and still are) Aqours for no damn reason so I guess that's why I used to hate them so much... But I gave them a chance, watched some lives and I finally got it, that special flavor, that special connection. There is some sort of magic involved, I don't know. That's the power of Muse. Final Live was a revelation. Aqours seiyuu are my inspiration but Muse seiyuu are basically goddesses for me. Right now, I'm going to get a Muse and Aqours tattoo. I never thought I'd be getting a tattoo in my life but right now it feels like I can't live without it. I want to carry these memories, these feelings, Muse's legacy. That is the power of Love Live

But its quite great that we can still see some appearances from µ's until today just like this special 100th episode of NicoRinPana, that special TV program for all stars with 3 generations of love live as host, as well as that 9-hour love live radio program hosted by Anchan and Emitsun. I probably joined around mid 2018, it makes me happy seeing and hearing the seiyuus laugh in broadcasts and radios, I also like watching the aquors seiyuu niconamas (is that what you call them?), but it is sad that the virus has been keeping them from doing live streams, I kinda wanna learn japanese just to watch these live streams without subs, what your doing is really kind, you didn’t have to do sub these for us, but you did! I discovered LL back in 2014 when it was a common topic and meme on a fb group i belonged in and i started listening to their song and dang its good. I repeatedly played their songs in Osu! then I watched the anime but didn't finished it since i have mixed feelings of watching an anime with only female characters and being a boy (Im new to anime during that time and i thought watching anime with only female characters are girly). Now its 2019 and i started watching the anime right from the start on a whim. Then i got addicted to LL. Then i got into seiyuu-stuffs. I also started getting into love live, and also really anime as a whole around the end of 2016/beginning of 2017. How I learned about love live? Scrolling on pornhub, end up on a video with the thumbnail of nozomi grabbing makis breasts in episode 1, watched it, actually really fucking liked it, and been addicted to love live and anime (it was also one of the first anime in general that I watched lol) ever since.
