This was such a fun video to make. I wanted to be a little more creative and challenge myself to make a beautiful video, even if it's just about cleaning out my closet! I had the intention of building my "dream wardrobe" by thrifting, but when I thought more about it, I didn't feel good about that. I realized what is more important to me is being aware of my actions, the effects of those actions on the planet, and what it actually means to know myself. This was just the first video in a series of me digging into that topic of what it means to get to know myself and the steps I'm taking to get there. Thinking about what my favorite clothing styles are isn't deep, but I think self-expression has a lot of weight on my confidence, so I'm happy I did this, even if it really was the absolute smallest step towards self discovery.
