I agree the price increases aren’t too bad. However, I wish they were more transparent in advance with customers. The Curated, for example, gave a couple months notice to their customers.

My handbag goals this year is to go for the less traditional silhouettes and different from my existing collection. That’s why I’m researching these styles. Cyme is one that I am rather intrigued by and was hoping to see your review on. It’s a pity you didn’t keep it. Thanks for sharing!

Looks like euro prices are holding stable. I plan on going to France in the spring, ! will probably pick up a bag. EDIT: I was wrong, the Euro prices increased as well the dix was 290. now it is 350. Sigh.

I was hesitant to get the dix because I'm guessing it's a narrow bag, hence difficulty in getting my stuff in and out of the bag and limited space too. If only it had a wider width.

Chloe and LV are sooo much more than Polene that the Polene price increases seem like nothing in comparison. All prices have gone up so it’s naive to think Polene’s wouldn’t.

I was already holding off after my two purchases from last year (i returned one and recently sold the other), but I definitely would not purchase again after the price increase. Customer service was slow via email and the reason i sold the bag was because it was peeling and cracking. I used it less than 5 times in the 6 months that I owned it. I will admire from afar.

@@hanniedays Neuf micro. Not exactly sure how it happened. I store it the same way i do my other bags and i am not one to be hard on my bags either.

Might keep one and sold the rest. I too sold my old Un Nano and it was sold within 2 hours! Thank god this brand is popular 😝

@@AnnettaDarandri It's fine since it's a display. Even luxury handbag displays are beaten up, but it definitely gives you an idea of how it will wear or tear. Still a beautiful bag, just doesn't age well. Enjoy yours though!

@@kristidao6107 Yes, those corners I fear the most. I personally have never seen display items that bad, and yes it makes me think of how it could wear overtime without dustbag protection

Kinda reminds me of Mansur Gabriel. The first bucket bag i bought in 2013 was $400 then it got gradually more expensive that it became 1k 😂 even considering many yrs have passed, i do not think mansur gavriel should cost over 1k. I lost interest but ya i think polene will head the same route

How much did your dix bag sell for.I have a brand new taupe dix and want to sell but not familiar how to do that like you did

Hi! I sold mine for approx $250. This was probably about a year ago, and my bag was used. I think it probably could've sold for higher if I waited it out. For today's market, I think you could try to price and sell for higher than that bc of Dix's price increases since then. I look at what others are pricing the same bag for to have a general price range and adjust based on how used the bag is. It's also helpful to have a higher starting price on Poshmark knowing people will offer a lower price.

Thanks for your review. I love the brand for the construction of their structured bags and for the plush bags that still hold shape. I would like to practice embroidery and beading on their bags for both a unique look of my own. But also because I know they will last substantially long (a lifetime) in a wardrobe. Thanks!

Don’t mind the price hike, solely due to quality, and when considering the price point of luxury legacy with crappy materials, I can justify the purchasing.

Worth considering before price increase but not anymore for a not long standing established bag but still better value than mk , coach etc but no lol you cannot buy a Louis Vuitton bag for the price of a current polene bag !!! 🤣🤣🤣 but don’t forget everyone is increasing prices but the quality of a polene is still more worth than a Tory Burch , mk and coach .
