Back in the day there was the European Cup winners cup (the third comp in Europe) they got rid of it and I always thought WHY do that ! This competition is just as good as that old cup winners cup . Cmon you Hammers bring it back to London

@@TT-fq7pl Well, the money is always useful for smaller clubs in Europe but winning gets you into the Europa League next season. The only route to European competition next season for both Fiorentina and West Ham

Moyes putting on his charm offensive to keep his job. He's a skilled & cunning politician who knows how to work the media and his managers. The simple fact is we've beaten 2nd rate teams in this competition but in the premier league, our bread and butter, he's lost more than he's drawn or won combined. And after spending 200m thats absolute crap under any circumstances. The only way for us to win this game is if Moyes sets us up to attack, not sit with 9 men, scared, in our own half and try to get Antonio to run like a donkey after lost causes & then after 80 mins, when we're losing, try and change it. So, Moyes, do yourself and us, the thousands of committed fans who follow our club week after week, especially away from home, a favour and set the team free to play the way they know how and win this fkn trophy instead of wimper out as you usually do. Then leave our club with a trophy on your CV.
