From Wikipedia:
"To Be Over," the gentlest piece on the album, features complex, melodic arrangements of guitar and electric sitar (at one point quoting a theme from Tales from Topographic Oceans), and arguably features Jon Anderson's most straightforward lyrics since the band's second album, Time and a Word.
Lyrics:
We go sailing down the calming streams,
Drifting endlessly by the bridge.
To be over, we will see, to be over.
Do not suffer through the game of chance that plays;
Always doors to lock away your dreams.
Think it over, time will heal your fear, think it over.
Balance the thoughts that release within you.
Childlike soul dreamer.
One journey, one to seek and see in ev'ry light
Do open true pathways away.
Carrying closer,
Go gently, holding doors will open ev'ry way
You wander true pathways away.
After all your soul will still surrender.
After all don't doubt your part,
Be ready to be loved.

As a musician myself, there are no bands/artists that consistently move me to tears like Yes. And yeah, I get that it's a genre thing. Not everything resonates with everyone but Yes's music definitely resonates with me.

Arguably the most brilliant guitar work Steve Howe ever produced. The first time I heard YES play this song, I was standing in the front-center next to the protective fence around the stage. The awesome sound of Yes ! I remember reading a magazine interview with Jon Anderson shortly after the release of "Relayer" in 1974. When asked to describe this song, Anderson somewhat equated the lyrics to an "end of life" theme in which death is not something to fear, but a new "pathway" through which the spirit can wander and seek new adventures. Based on that memory, this was the first song that I listened to upon hearing of the passing of Chris Squire....Rather than RIP, I say, "...Don't doubt your part be ready to be loved !"

I read the Tolkien Trilogy and The Hobbit while listening to Tales under headphones. The emotionally charged playing of their instruments guided me along as I blended the reading with the music. This was meant to be. I've never experienced this again. Then, I went with friends to Montreal and watched them play the entire Tales album, in the order of appearance on the album. They did not miss a single note of this incredibly complicated piece. Yet, the beauty remained. How will future generations survive without Yes?

My favorite Yes song on my favorite Yes album. Steve Howe at his best. Probably the best guitar work that I've ever heard. Patrick Moraz added great new energy to the band. Sorry that this was the only album that he played on. Thank you Chris for your relentless dedication to the dream, your voice, composition and that awesome bass. RIP

Soundchaser was a venture into Progressive Jazz, I can't imagine what it would have sounded like with Brufiord on drums, or how the band would have progressed with Bruford and Moraz on board permanently. I love Alan White and Rick Wakeman, but that would have been a dynamic ensemble.

I agree with the comments. YES took their own path in music. They constructed music on their own terms. With that, that is YES. YES will never be recognized for their talent and contribution to music. Oh, many musicians see the talent and as the fans. So, screw the rock and roll hall of fame. YES deserves their own hall of fame! Goodbye Chris. You ARE greatly appreciated. You will live on in our memories and our playing of your music.
