The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: أفضَلُ الأعمالِ إيمانٌ باللهِ وَ رسولِ
[related by Imam al-Bukhaariyy]
It means: «The best of the deeds is the belief in Allah and in His Messenger.»
Believing in Allah and His Messenger ﷺ is the best of the deeds and most rewardable by Allah. The Muslim believes that Allah does not resemble any of the creations. He is not like any of the creation. Allah does not have a shape, body, size, or form.
The good deeds like prayers, fasting, pilgrimage, and Zakaah, are valid only if one believes in Allah and His Messenger
The good deeds are not accepted from a non-believer.

Can you tell me the traveling distance up to which a woman can travel alone without a male mahram and after which she can’t travel on her own? What would be the ruling for a woman who’s going above that distance but she’s going with many people (male & female) but still those people aren’t her male mahram? For example, a woman who wants to go to Hajj but she has no male mahram.

@oliviamurphy7915 Let me please tell you briefly about the belief of Muslims. It is the belief that the sound mind accepts, and I think you will notice that as I tell you about Islam. Muslim worship God only Who has the Name Allah. Muslims believe that God is the Creator of all the creation and He is not like His creation at all. For had He been like them He would not have created them. So, the creator is not like His creation. He is not a body. He does not have any attributes of the creation. He created the whole universe and He does not need any of it. He existed before creating all places and directions without a place and without a direction. And God does not change. So, after creating places and directions be it the skies or Earth, … God exists without a place. He is not contained in the sky nor in any other place. What is in a place is created. And God is the Creator. He sent Messengers to guide people to what benefits them in the Hereafter. The first of the Messengers was Prophet Adam and after him came many other Prophets including Prophet Ibrahim, Mousaa (Moses) and ^Eisaa (Jesus) and the last is Prophet محمد. (I wrote it in Arabic because it is not pronounced with sound of "h" rather it is a different sound, but he is also referred to as Abul-Qaasim. They all came with the Religion of Islam for Islam is the Religion that God accepts. It is the Religion that clears God from non-befitting Attributes. God has the Perfect Attributes that do not resemble the attributes of the creation. God’s Existence is eternal and everlasting and the Attributes of God are eternal and everlasting. They do not change. God knows about everything before things happen. Whatever He eternally willed to be, will be; and what God eternally did not will to be, it will not be. The Will of God does not change. His Knowledge does not change. He has Power over all things. He sees without eyes and hears without ears. Eyes and ears are created and He does not resemble the creation. To become a Muslim one has to believe in the Meaning of the Two Testifications of Faith. In brief, the meaning of “No one is God except Allah” is that nothing deserves to be worshipped except Allah, Who has no beginning and no end to His Existence. He is attributed with all proper perfection. All His Attributes are not like the attributes of the creation. Allah’s Attributes have no beginning and no end and they do not change. God created all places and He is not in need of any places. God exists eternally before creating all places without a place and after creating places, God does not change. He exists without a place. He is not in the sky or on earth or on the throne. What is in a place has a volume and Allah is not a volume. He created all bodies and He is not a body. Allah knows about everything. He sees without eyes and hears without ears. He does not need instruments. He is not like His creation in any way. He does whatever He wills, i.e., whatever Allah willed to be shall be and whatever Allah did not will to be shall not be. Believing in Prophet محمد (Abul-Qaasim) entails believing that he is the last and the best of all the Messengers of Allah. He was truthful in everything he conveyed from Allah. All Prophets called to the Religion of Islam. Prophets worshipped God even before they received the Revelation. They never commit blasphemy such as worshipping idols and they never commit enormous sins such as fornication. They are also protected from committing small mean sins such as stealing even one grape. Becoming a Muslim is easy. You believe in what I mentioned to you above and you say with your tongue: "No one is God except Allaah and Abul-Qaasim is the Messenger of Allah." Say it and do not delay.
