Ok father divorced wife and married wife best friend and took care of step kids while abandoning his own kids so daughter want revenge and while getting revenge falls in love with stepmothers son and now things stepmother is not so bad however mother is in hospital because she had a mental break and had to suffer for 13 yrs! But all is forgiven because the fire was just an accident!!! So what about the betrayal of the friend and the years of suffering due to it!!! I started to watch this on Netflix. Before the first episode ended, I realized that this wasn't going to make much sense, and almost everyone was going to act silly. Immediately came to here to find the recap and I'm glad I did. 1. The father is actually the ultimate villain; he's an awful wimpy man. 2. Makiko, though she didn't start the fire, is not a nice person overall; but they're acting like all of her stink attitude is forgiven because she didn't burn the house down. 3. Anzu just falls in love with the guy who suspected his mother was the arsonist all those years, but didn't do anything? Mds. Awful, awful. So happy I didn't waste my time watching the full series.

Family courts arent "misandrist", check the stats: fathers, who WANT child custody usually get it bec. their financial position is on average better than their ex-wives' bec., contrary to women's, their careers are not negatively impacted by becoming a parent. If you have to lie to yourself and to others to appear as a victim, it's past time to rethink your life choices. 🙄
