Regarding the material of which the keys are made....'reverse' of black/white.....the expense and scarcity of ivory is usually cited as the reason. In my experience, this seems to be the norm for much older instruments and not the exception. Thank you for the post & heartfelt thanks to D. petterdiesel, I am what you call reformed.I believe that in soteriological matters Grace, Blood, Righteousness and Sacrifice of Jesus Christ is absolutely necessary and completely efficacious. On non-essential doctrine and tradition I am not dogmatic but prefer a more Apostolic observance,(sacrament and baptism). A long answer to a short question! lol! Best regards to you and yours!

Yes, but there are 2 organs at the Domkirche in Colonge. The Transpet Organ if I am correct controls the 50" Wind Pressure Tubas and Nave Organ.

I can’t stand this hymn. Over used, sounds goofy on the organ.
