i also think maybe the symbol that flashes (the one that looks like a standard warning signal) in polaroids vision when he prepares to slice shi might represent his coding? in previous videos he seemed unable to harm shi in any serious way. however this time the green triangle overtakes that symbol. maybe he's just Like That. in the comics there was that Limbo thing, i never really understood it but im wondering if it migut be at play here?

This is the first time slugbots eyes actually opened , this really put immense impact on the situation he’s in, slug bots is known to always have their eyes close but seeing their parental figure just get injured/die is what breaks that barrier and truly lets you feel the impact . Especially at the end when slugbot was hyperventilating and panicking in disbelief from what happened to his “parent figure”

I'm a person who is not even one step close to art, but I'm just so thankful that I can watch this animation. I thought it was a long 4 minutes and 51 seconds vid but surprised at how quickly the time passed. Beside the interesting rainworld vibe, the characters, stories, pictures, and videos you created are so impressive... and the sound effect you've given to this video-especially the daddy long leg noise and slugcat running noise-those were simply awesome!! What I got from this part 4:12 (I’m just guessing) So right the rot (UI) explodes after this And my guess is either that the rot never really used that form and lost control Or when 2:32 showed were the rot was attached maybe the cord snapped and it activated self destruct? I read through the comic, and i think i know what’s going on. Slugbot takes Polaroid to visit Ui, who had been consumed by the rot in order to revive slugbot after their tragic death. Something goes wrong, though, and Polaroid attacks Ui, thus angering Slugbot.

Oh dear. The symbol that flashes before Polaroid activates his 'kill switch' can be seen in the TV that Slugbot finds in the last vid, and it also appears on the Polaroid copy. So is the symbol a city crest or sigil of some kind? It's overriding Polar's restraint to not only harm UI but even harm Slugbot when he used to show huge retaliation to previously. I wonder what made him prone to whatever the symbol is in this one, maybe he let his guard down for a second and made him so nuts. Analysis aside, good lord the expressions, the fighting angles, camera shots. I love how you animated Shi Xuan as an attacking cat/animal so accurately (Lil dude has a bit of rot in their augmented body which is a bit concerning), 'boss mode' UI's transformation and how dramatically shown it is- I'm so glad you're taking your time doing animations because this. This is so worth the wait. I wonder if Polar can regenerate his halves per usual next episode. Slugbot is not gonna trust him anymore after this.

I love when fight scenes actually use their characters abilities to the full extent they can and show creative ways of using them. That part where the tentacle went through the guys mouth and you showed that the slugbot? (I’ve never played rain world and I’m not in the fandom) was thinking about looping back around to go through the rest of the head. I also love that you showed the emotions during this scene and how the person is cocky when they’re dashing towards the slugbot. The weight and fluidity of the movement is unbelievable this is my favorite animated action scene I’ve watched in a while. I hope you success with your talent

I think one of the most painful parts of this is that this was one Polaroid’s clones, and the other Polaroid may not know or remember anything about what happened here. I don’t really know details about the lore or how the cloning thing works though.
