Interesting that in all 13 wars led by Joshua the only casualties we read of occurred against the 1st battle against Ai which was not commanded by God, He though slew all the other opponents, what is important to note is that although the Israelites did not incur any casualties they HAD to go and fight, as we are commanded to as well!
