From an Australian who supports Ukraine intensely . This is a very good balanced interview and represents the Australian peoples thoughts. I was proud when Australia was the no 1 non NATO donor. We manufacture bushmasters and we have 1300 of them . Very easy for us to send more and manufacture more. More local jobs etc and they are highly regarded by the Ukrainians.

There is a huge amount of support for Ukraine from Australia and by Australians. We recognise the fierce independence of Ukrainians and the absolute horror Ukraine faces in the form of abusive Ruscist terror. I want to see more from our Australian governments and we need to help fight the good fight against this awful evil facing the world. Love and respect to Ukraine the allies, and the people on the front lines and behind providing support, for here in Australia. Slava Ukraini!

He is not as up to speed on the border issues in the US as you may think: the democrats offered the republicans pretty much everything they asked for border-wise in a bill and MAGA-Comrade Johnson said it was 'dead on arrival' and refused to bring it to a vote. In essence, Trump wants to keep it a hot-button issue for the election. That may backfire, but people have a short memory.

Totally. MAGA politicians have no intent on fixing the border. Gov Abbott of Texas manufactured a border crisis that for some reason didn't effect the blue states on the border. It was timed for when they started announcing their candidacy. They know the worse the border is the more votes they get when in reality they support mass immigration and amnesty. Biden built more wall than trump did!

Despite our best efforts to get the Australian and New Zealand Governments to support Australians and New Zealanders who are in Ukraine working here for a long time generally, we have all just got empty promises or no replies and Michael Danby is just another talking head who is the same sadly.This is the Truth of the matter and people need to know that this lack of support really is a sad state. of affairs that our Group has to endure.

I'm not a fan of SNA, its Murdoch influence often shines through. Mr Danby is interesting, but I'd need to know more about his word/action ratio.... his words sound pretty good, but I'm not convinced Let's hope he uses his influence in accordance with his words.
