I’m loving your “not too rigid” approach to organizing because I can find myself in that. I desire to be better at organizing and planning but despise feeling boxed in and locked to a detailed schema. I’m an island girl, we don’t do well with clocks 🙃

Yes!!! It’s like how do you get things done and enjoy life without being a rigid machine?

Michelle, this video was so well-timed for me. I continue to be so impressed with the content you put out, the self discovery you do, the research and trial and error you personally put into things, and the clear and entertaining approach you use to make these resources for us. Thank you so much!!!

When I started my Masters of Psychology this year I told myself I would have a cut off time to stop studying. Of course this quickly went out the window when content got heavy and assessment deadlines piled up. I really need to employ this “cut off” time technique. Thanks for the inspo and ❤️ from Sydney 🇦🇺

I choked when you said “give yourself lunch breaks” because I really do be working through my lunch most days as self employed and its so unhelpful for the rest of my day 😂😂 nothing will set on fire if I have lunch, it’s okay to stop and have lunch 😭😭

Great advice as always! Although it's such a simple thing, I'd love to be able to buy note cards of all your thoughtful questions to use as bookmarks or tape to my workspace. Kinda like a deck of mindfulness cards which I've seen online but it seems like they could be so generic to the point of being unhelpful clutter.

I LOVE the hats method! One of the things I enjoy so much about being creative and entrepreneurial is having to wear many hats, it always keep things fun and fresh so this is a perfect method! It’s almost like stepping into a character for a little while :)

Cut off times are great, but sometimes I allow myself to work through them if I am on a roll and not far from being done. The other thing I do is put my phone in a drawer away from me with it on do not disturb. My ability to focus goes up so much when it isn't within an arm's reach.

I love how you schedule your "Hats". Do you have a video on what all of your hats are and what their tasks entail? I would love to see it! New to your channel and I LOVE your content!

I need this video. I’ve been focusing on stupid things like dating and s*x (when I should be focusing on fixing my mental and education instead). Can anyone else relate to stupid all-consuming distractions?

Yeah, I remember at 20 when I had my first bf I was super hormonal and stuff and it was so fkn distracting and it's even worse in the summer! 😒 At least you're not the only one :d

My eye caught the name Lizzie McGuire, so I had to go back and read the list you were making, lol! I'm also a bit doubtful about Pete Davidison and Kim as there conveniently seems to be a new Kardashian show in the works 🤨😅
