To-Morrow - Horace O. Prell ("Carl Ober")

This roll is attributed to Carl Ober, but I recently learned that that is a pseudonym for Horace O. Prell. I had a request to post a video showing more of the piano, so I thought I would take this as an opportunity. The lyrics are pretty generic Southern nostalgia fare, except for an interesting early reference to travel by airplane. I hope you enjoy!

(reading description) He attributed a piece to himself? _(laughs)_ Early reference to travel by plane? Where's that? (P.S. From my perspective, the lyrics aren't very clear. Sorry to inform you...) Great piece nonetheless. Very lovely and very casual song to listen to.

@@peternewseterforever Maybe I was confusing...basically, Horace O. Prell did the arrangement but it says on the label that "Carl Ober" did it. Carl Ober wasn't a real person, but sometimes people would do this to make it look like more pianists were arranging for the roll company, or for other reasons. Sorry about the difficulty with seeing the lyrics. If I record more videos in the future, I will try to improve the quality. For now, I just have all the videos I already recorded and I can't do anything about it. The airplane reference was just saying something like "I'll take a train or aeroplane to go back home to the South". Glad you enjoyed! Thank you for commenting!
