Although our family might look a little different than other people’s right now, through this weakness I have never been stronger. In being a single mom, Gods strength has been made perfect my sweet Cartia.
If it wasn’t for you holding the door for me, I would never have been able to face these storms alone. You are Caritas and you are grace. Thank you for loving me with love that isn’t for this world or of this world.
Thank you for making me your mom.
I can’t wait to see what the rest of this lifetime will be filled with and to watch all the people you are going to share Gods love with.
It is a privilege to love you and be called mama.

I hope this open letter to Cartia blesses whoever happens to watch it. That it can spark something in you that knows that love is never the wrong answer. This is me.. holding open the door for you.
