Honestly kind of feels like these two fallow the pattern of initially not liking each other but slowly starting to develop feelings towards each other the fact these two fight for 12 years kind of shows that the god of war listener has pure power on there side and knowledge of all things dealing with combat but is not as smart when it comes to other matters that being said he respects her for not only her power but the fact that she is smart. While the speaker knows there smarter and hope they have enough power to balance out the listeners pure power. But in some way she does respect the listener unimaginable strength in being the god of war. Just saying that’s how I think these two work and why I think they don’t mind splitting rulership he respects the power and knowledge she presents. And in some ways she respects the pure power and tenacity he shows.

I think a Halberd would be more fitting for a God of war. Its a spear and an axe in one, if the swing is overshot the handle can be a mace. The butt of the halberd can be a spike that the user can use like a spear. Its the perfect medival weapon of war.
