They need to be no more than £5. It would cost a small fortune to add them to all the slipless releases in the UK. also, I think it would bug me that they weren’t the real thing somehow . I hope they gave you that one for free after that massive plug!

Personally I can take or leave slips. Though I like it when a title comes with one I won't complain or go out trying to get one if it doesn't (exception: when Amazon in the product title said "Lenticular slip edition" then sent me one without a slip!). However, whilst I do understand people like youself who are happy to pay to get one made (and also those who remove them... though I don't understand why anyone throws away something that's obviously worth money) what I *am* confused by is the fact it _seems to me_ most people when they get a title _with_ a slip are much more pleased if the slip has different artwork to the regular front cover (or reversible cover so then they can have the two different designs) and also (generally speaking) wish that the UK didn't have its intrusive age ratings labels... in fact when most people get a German release that's an identical reversible cover except the age rating they immediately swap it over. Therefore my question is why, if you're paying (a not insignificant ammount) for a bespoke slip why do you not get one with alternative art (of which there are 3 or 4 official choices out there) and/or with the age logos removed?

I have x-men 1 and 2 and 3 all in slipcovers, have quite a few of them but if it comes without 1, i dont panic etc like some, its not the end of the world .

Each to their own, but as a physical media collector myself, I never really care or pay attention to box art or slipcovers. I just want to own the movie in the best quality available, and as long as the box has the name of the movie clearly on its spine so its easily readable on the shelf, thats enough for me. The film is the draw for me, not the box art or inclusion\lack of a slipcover. Still, I know a lot of collectors appreciate good artwork so more ❤ to you. 😁

Yeah the movie is important as you say. But I think many of us have become accustomed to the ‘special edition’ treatment when it comes to packaging. I guess it’s similar to buying a new car. You can buy a basic model but yet most go for all the extras and gadgets. I think we just like nice things lol

Has anyone else noticed when they first come out thay have slip covers but not long after the price changes and gows down then thay stop releasing with slip covers

True; but the two aren't connected directly in most instances - often a new release will get a slip cover only for the first 'print run'. The price goes down on items the longer they've been out whether or not the first run came with a slip or not. This is except for some manufacturers who *DO* specifically say the initial release is a Limited run ox X, thousand/hundred with a new artwork slip then later (with a different official release day) a non-Limited version without a slip.

Cost wise thats £24.99 and £9.14 for the slipcover the US release with a slip cover worked out cheaper and is still available. Its Lionsgate in the US but EIV here so it has rounded corners and its metallic finish not matt on that release.

Can you tell me where you got your custom made No Time To Die slipcover. Like you it's driving me nuts that the release doesn't match the rest of the Craig 4k films. Many thanks Steve.

Love to see that! I collect DVDs purely because they’re more affordable for me personally, and barely any ever come with slips, the only ones I therefore collect with slipcovers are the Disney Classics series (shiny glossed slips) and the Pixar numbered series 🎬📀

I agree that they make excellent slipcovers ! since the Sony releases don't come with a slipcover anymore i try to get one from them....Ghostbusters Frozen Empire is a good recent example.

Great job they did with that slipcover I got one for my Rambo First Blood 4k because my Rambo 2 and 3 4k's had them and it looks great Inkyprints are very good at their job.
