I dearly loved his book “All creatures Great and Small” as well as the BBC series. My family watched the series twice and will likely do so again! Good job Sir!

Not the same person. Same title, but different books and different authors. James Herriot wrote the books in the 1970s, adapted into the TV series.

I like how they socialized at the end. I wonder if that’s where Saturday Night Live got the idea.

James Herriot, a British doctor and author, wrote a book with the same title, "All Creatures Great and Small" that is very well-known. I know a title cannot be copyrighted, but it's interesting that another animal specilist, Dan Mannix, wrote a book with thte same title. That said, I could not fine a book with that title published by Dan Mannix. He has published a number of titles, all of them having something to do with animals, but there is no evidence he published a book titled "All Creatures Great and Small." James Herriot's "All Creatures Great and Small" (incorporating If Only They Could Talk and It Shouldn't Happen to a Vet) was first published in 1972.

Josephina, amazing woman. Absolutely. I love how the panel thought ocelots and an eagle were seen as "dark" animals ie. Poe. These are great shows to watch. I enjoy Tom's reasons.

I wonder which hurricane they got caught in. If this happened on September 22, 1960, it was after Hurricane Donna.

I remember Hurricane Donna. I was living in south Florida. We didn't get the full force of the storm as it went through the Keys and did a lot of damage.
