Even if i didnt know in advance how Dusko Popov looked like, it is quite obvious who is the most charming, charismatic and misterious of the 3 contestants.

+glutamin111 They get people who -fit- the role being played. Watch a few more episodes. This time it fit, but it usually does not.

Peggy Cass didn't know what she's talking about. "We" didn't have a spy 5 fingers. The movie titled "The Five Fingers" was about the spy for Germany in Turkey called Cicero.

Size 66 is norm today with many people.

Mr. Popov seemed like a fun guy. I would have loved to have dinner with him and hear some of his stories. I'll have to settle for reading his book.

Kitty Carlisle was tall, I never realized that. She did have heels on, but she still was taller than Bill Cullen.

This is the first time I've seen her wear slacks on the show.

I believe Mr. Popov. I think retirement from the spy game would be fine since hardly anyone knows about them irl anyway.

bluebear1985, Alda also appeared on some early 70s episodes of 'What's My Line', too..

I knew it was # 3 right away. Even though it's a stereotype, there is a "classic Slavic type" that he fit. The other two men didn't have these features, had German accents--and, as it turned out, they had German surnames as well.

Gary Moore was a great guitarist..RIP

Wrong Gary Moore, I know about the Gary Moore you're referring to and yes he WAS a great guitarist but this is not him.
@RayJacksonbighmw4 жыл бұрын
This is GARRY Moore, the late great game show host, not Gary Moore that late great guitarist you were referring to.

Haha I know it's an 8 year old comment, but were you doing a bit or did you really mix up your Garry/Gary Moores?

Nice to see Uncle Leo playing "Number 2" getting some work. 🙄

I wish people who write comments would not give away answers. Seems unfair to ruin our enjoyment invoking through these episodes.

For the fat guy I knew it was one from when they were introduced because he got a proud but sorta shy look on his face when explaining his accomplishments. And I just ordered the book by Dusko Popov from my library. Can't wait to read it :-)

....and a hell of a baccarat player at that too from what I heard in his affidavit, especially the variation known as chemin de fer. Before this episode I never heard of chemin de fer.

I guessed number 3 simply because. he looks maximum slavic.

Alan Alda on a game show? It must have been early in the run of "M*A*S*H" when he appeared. I believe he appeared on the early 70s version of "I've Got a Secret" with Steve Allen as well, but I'm not sure.

Could you PLEASE share TTTT Episode #1133 from the 1971-72 season? Thank you very much!

@@MatchGameProductions Would you happen to have the episode featuring PBA (Professional Bowlers Association) Hall Of Famer Johnny Petraglia on it, I saw a clip on of it when the PBA Tour was on CBS in 1998-99 and can't find it anywhere on YT, perhaps, you might have it.

1973 style really went to hell. Kitty does this show 15-20 yrs. in an evening dress, then in '73 suddenly is seen in a polyester pantsuit. Ugh.
@bmasters19814 жыл бұрын
That is your opinion, and you have the freedom thereto-- however, we should consider that at the time of taping, she may not have had any such dresses available (or none may have been available for her), and she had to go with what she had.

The roman numbers says 1974, not 1973.

Oh for crying out loud... 3 was so obvious that I stopped watching at 1:47. America thought people were so dumb then! Flowery, colourful sets and an insult to British intellect.
