R.I.P. Betty White. When Bud was reading the affidavit for the 2nd game, watching contestant #2, she was looking down when the camera was on her. I thought that was a dead giveaway. It was. Thanks for the video.

4:18: “Was Jack Paar in on this?” A reference to Paar’s broadcast from Berlin in September, 1961, just after the Wall went up. For some reason there was a ruckus in Congress and the media over his use of US Army personnel and vehicles in the segment.

These are typically to bring an issue forward, but it depends on those movie stars asking real questions and pushing the respondents to give real answers.

It's been 62 years since this program aired. But, I've never heard about cow dentures until now, even as a joke.

What's My Line had one or two contestants whose line was making and selling false teeth for cows. It's interesting to meet the person who invented them.

Of all the celebrities available in New York, the only person they could find was some unfamiliar personality named Toni Gilman? She passed away in 2017 at age 93.

Ah, but she certainly did play the game well. And quite intelligent.

She was obviously quite intelligent, and she asked non-formulaic questions. Very impressive and a joy to watch.

After Toni Gilman's question at 20:01, I have no idea how #3 could have gotten any votes after saying you go northWEST from the Pacific to the Atlantic.
@rmelin132316 ай бұрын
Actually is quite correct. Consider looking at a map. That's why Toni asked it, because 95% of North Americans would answer it incorrectly.

*SPOILER* In game #1, it would have been easier to guess the real Evelyn Grimes by asking the contestants if they had been raised in a German-speaking country, because the real Grimes was the only one who had a German accent.
