This shows how far the USA has come in regards to manned space missions and space exploration. It would still be a few years from this episode that Alan Shepard becomes the first man in space for the USA. Polly is too much. Kitty laughing as usual through the entire show. The second contestant is *Zale Parry*, not "Dale Parry;" and she appeared several years earlier on "You Bet Your Life," hosted by Groucho Marx. I'm also happy to note that she is not only still alive, but still beautiful today!

My family watched Sea Hunt every Saturday night after Gunsmoke. I loved Lloyd Bridges. If it was 10:30 which sounds right, what was between Gunsmoke and Sea Hunt? at any rate it brings back great memories of being a kid and staying up late on Saturday.

SEA HUNT was a syndicated show, so stations could put it where they wanted on the schedule.

Bud mentions a "special program" a couple of times that will preempt TTTT. Perhaps it was election related? And yet there was a program two weeks later, which was Election Day. There wasn't a presidential election, but there would have been the entire House of Representatives, ~1/3 of the Senate and numerous governors up for election that day. Presumably the election night coverage began after TTTT was aired.

It had nothing to do with elections. TTTT was preempted on Oct. 28, 1958 by DuPont Show of the Month’s presentation of The Count of Monte Cristo starring Hurd Hatfield.

I wonder whatever happened to the satellite around the moon concept? On another topic... As a kid, I used to watch the daytime version of this show on my lunch hour during the mid-to late 1960s. The panel consisted of Kitty, Orson, Peggy, and Bill Cullen. For some reason I can't seem to find uploads of those shows. Has anybody seen those episodes?
