To the clouds and beyond

Another late night flight, but this time from my home.
Not everyday I can surf clouds and mountains at the same time!
I don`t want to hear anything about the music, third video in four days. Finding good songs take even more time then editing!
Flown with Hercules XL from Crashtesthobby.
Filmed with 2x Foxeer Legend 3 @ 2.5K 60FPS
Used a tad of Warp stabilizer on the forward facing video in post.
A bit windy up there....

These kind of videos are the main reason I got into FPV. Cloudsurfing is awesome. Not enough people get to do this the way you can with the sun this low. I truly envy you man. Keep enjoyin FPV because youtube would be empty without you.

Thanks. It was acctually quite turbulent so I cheated with a tad of warp stabilizer in post editing. The rear facing camera is raw and not so smooth....

That actually must be a little terrifying as you don't really know where the mountain is -- it could pop up right in front of you! Great video as always. What time is it there when you're flying? What motor are you powering that 72" wing with?

Thanks. I am pretty familiar with the mountains here as it is right outside my house. Would have been worse elsewhere.... This was about 22.00 - 22.30 ish. Sun was almost down at my house, but it shines on the mountains i flew over all night. At least for few more days.... The Hercules is powered by a Cobra 4120 710kv. with a 9000mah 6S. Use a 12x6 folder for endurance or a 11x8.5 for speed ( about 160 km/h WOT)

You could charge money for FPV vacations where people could camp or lodge nearby and wait for good weather. Brilliant flight. Do you always have so much reflex in your elevons? I might have to try adding more nose weight and see if I get that sort of stability.
