That sucks! It is a surreal feeling to find that your space/property has been altered by an unknown. Felt the same way when I came home a few years back to find the door open & my shit GONE...had to walk outside twice to check that it was my place. Or when my new car was towed after my apartment complex told me they ran out of occupant stickers and that it was fine to still park on the premises.

This is why I buy tamper resistant license plate screws. My plates were stolen when I was in college and it was a lot of time & energy to get them replaced. Literally, every car I've had since then have had tamper resistant screws on the license plates and I haven't had a plate stolen since.
