STAY ALERT!!!
Crewmate Tips:
You can leave a task quicker once it shows the 'Task Completed' line by clicking the x in the top left
A quick lever pull keeps the Trash's momentum and finishes the task quicker
Click on the center of navigation, dont drag and move
After aligning the first engine, double click the arrow to finish both parts of the task
The temperature tasks have a range of 1-50/1-60, save time if your range is large by re-opening for a better one
Use the Stellar map linked above to find the object quickly
Don't guess the Simon Says order if you forget, reopen the task to get the prompt again
Complete tasks in cheatsy places to stay out of hidden corners
You must swipe the card between 0.5 and 2 seconds and include a fast action for part of it.
Detective tips:
If two players are arguing over who is the killer, and confirming ejects is turned off, then always kill both
Take note of where multi-part tasks start and end, watch for someone doing them out of order
Take note of the direction players leave rooms and do tasks, to get leads on killers
Imposters cannot sabotage next to interactables, unless they already opened their sabotage menu
Even with visual confirmation turned off, you can verify innocence if two have the medbay scan
Admin map! Pay attention
Block cameras with your innocent squishy body, to bait killers into revealing their role
If a fellow crewmate is on cams, dont go on as well, but sit further from the door than them and bait a killer into revealing again
Imposter tips:
IMPORTANT - If there are 6 players left, with 2 imposters, after a meeting both will have the same cooldown, both killing asap will give a victory
If you double kill, dont leave the bodies to be discovered, but try and remove them from the map with false reporting
If lights are out, cameras still see all
If you get caught venting, hop ahead of the crewmate to slash them before they report
When your kill button blinks, your teammate has just killed
When they know its you, use the doors to help your cooldown
When in final 3, dont sabotage instantly but rather wait until the last possible second to press the emergency button before sabotaging
State you are on your way to a place to not be specific during meetings
Or look at the admin map for areas unexplored that game

More on the card swipe: Higher player movement speeds require faster card swipes, so keep this in mind when switching lobbies.

Note: the facing right or left thing does not stay the same for mobile because with the joystick you can switch direction without actually moving edit: this will happen if your finger slips

@Selim Monir I think it's a good thing. It adds a layer of depth to playing impostor, if you see the camera on you can take a risk and hope they're not looking at it while you kill or vent. Also if it didn't turn on you wouldn't even know if anyone was on cams and they could suddenly flip to you while you do something under the assumption you're safe.

Saaame, I always hear people talking about the admin table flicker but I thought they meant the room on the map flashes or something. Now I know what to actually look for haha. And same I didn't know that about the kill button either!

Honestly, the kill button flicker seems like a bug and should be patched out. I think gameplay wise it would be preferable to leave the admin flicker in game, tho.

11:08 bad advice because your kill cooldown doesn't reduce when looking at the button. better to just know the button is 15 seconds and to sabotage after your kill timer has gone down by 13 to 14 seconds

Obviously he didn't meant to watch it all the time but you have to check the button timer for a sec if you don't know the cooldown settings.

@@mev0lent I wish that was the case but as you can see in the video his cooldown timer is 29 seconds when the emergency buttton is at 15 and is still 29 seconds when he gets off the button and calls sabotage. he was literally just staring at the button not letting his kill cool down. another good tip here is to close doors to cafeteria immediately so that nobody can get a head start to any of the sabotages

11:08 I wouldn’t recommend staying looking at the button, since your kill cooldown won’t decrease while looking at it. You can instead look at the button timer for a brief second, and compare it to your kill cool down timer, and sabotage based off of that (example there’s 13 seconds until a button can be pressed, your kill cool down has 25 seconds, you can wait to sabotage until your kill cool down is about 12/13 seconds left).

Or just memorize the emergency meeting cooldown (normally 15 seconds) and compare it with the kill cooldown

6:52 is only true if: A. The game has been set to 1 Impostor B. All but 1 Impostor has left the game Otherwise, it only proves that they were most likely not the cause of _that_ sabotage, because dead Impostors can still sabotage.

This was surprisingly useful, ive played this game and watched it ALOT but there were several tips that I never knew about, most importantly the one where your kill button flickers if your imposter teammate kills, keep up the good work.

You can click the "Shhh" / "You are an Impostor/Crewmate" screen and begin moving before it finishes. If you memorize the maps well enough, you can get a head start on anyone else and finish your lengthier tasks, such as the wires tasks, much faster.

In the cameras I actually use the corner on the books to hide. The impostor wouldn't see me (atleast immediately, unless their eyes are veeeery quick) if they was looking through vents AND if they just came inside. Got some imps from that play.

A little thing about the prime shields tasks regardless of where you are, if you click the spaces between any of the spots it changes all those in the area will be switched. For corners, it is the three that surround and create the corners, while for regular sides it affects the two panels that create the line.

One of my own personal tips for Impostors is to always be as honest as you possibly can without giving the game up. The best lies are half truths, and this tip alone has played a huge part in the fact that I've won almost 80% of my games as impostor.

11:07 Feel like it’s worth mentioning you shouldn’t keep the button open as your cooldown won’t go. Look at it for a split sec then count down in your head (I like to wait til I get to 3 seconds left then sabotage in case I’m off by any amount)

Just want to point out that the visual 5:02 can be misleading, I was misinformed enough to believe that you can eject two players at the same time as it shows in the video, but in truth that just turns into a tie and no one gets ejected, so I'm guessing To The Point just edited it like that for visual interpretation.

Tip: you dont always have to see which way someone is facing to know they vented. Say you are playing on skeld. You can walk into medbay and see that there is nobody there, right? Well, if the vision is at least 0.75, then you can stand in the cafeteria opening (just inside incase the impostor tries to close the door on you) and wait for somebody to come out. Most people vent to medbay after killing in electrical / security, and if someone comes out of the room that wasnt in there before...well... you just done did yourself a win

There are also a couple of hiding spots to be aware of on different maps! On MIRA HQ, you can stand under the radar dish where you do weapons, usually completely out of sight (especially if you don't have a pet following you). Similarly, on Polus, right outside of Weapons, there is the silo tower where the lasers are attached. You can easily hide behind that, so long as you don't have a long name.

It is no good to wait on the button until the cooldown is almost off, because the kill cooldown doesn't go down then. Much better to check it immediately, close the panel and count it in your head

A tip to understand doorlogs: the doorlogs will let u know where each person has gone on the Y of the map. Use the doorlogs can let u know who was with each other if they have past that side. North side will be admin and lights, SouthEast will be cafe and balcony, and Southwest can be doorlogs and locker room. If two people go into admin or North side, u can check and see if there is a dead body there and if u see one then u know who did the kill. And enject them with a smile on ur face. I’ll make a video on this on my channel but I at least wanted to explain doorlogs here as a POWERFUL tool to use in MIRR HQ as like cameras.

Adding on a bit, I believe the actual logging of movement has a cooldown Say you walk through the southwest sensor and right as it is logged, you realize you left a task undone and turn back to do it. That motion will not be logged so someone could look at it and accuse you of venting so be careful gamers!

If you are catching someone venting in medbay by the way they are facing make sure that they are not on mobile and that they aren't walking toward the right because they are going to caf and changed the direction they are facing

If you kill someone above the admin swipe on skeld, the body is almost completely hidden under the desk. I have seen crewmates walk in and out there, after i made the kill and even doing card swipe. It takes long to find the body and there can't be any traceback anymore

Something I used to catch one of my friends, if you see someone enter medbay on cams and go down yo the vent in security on skeld you can see if the vent in med and electrical move

Yo pro tip I stole from a police interrogation video I saw! if you find a body ask a potential suspect where they think the body was. If they're guilty they'll probably waffle around trying to not give away information, if they're innocent they'll probably give a good guess quickly.
