Matoro's death actually made me cry. The Inika were my favorite Toa growing up, so losing one of them broke my heart, but at least Matoro died like a hero, and helped to save Mata Nui.

Gosh I forgot about how the other Toa Mahri stayed behind to buy time and they thought Matoro would be the one who'd live to tell the tale of their sacrifice. :'( I'm always amazed when I think about Bionicle because most of the things I was into from 2001-2008 were... not good, often remarkably bad, I don't consider myself to have even started to develop taste at all until mid high school and up until then I just enjoyed and got invested in whatever I watched. But the Lego original story they made to sell toys without having to pay licensing fees, where they had to keep changing villains and either changing or transforming the heroes every year to sell toys, as well as giving them new types of launchers because test groups liked those? That was absolutely solid. 1:58 was Hydraxon's Question him finding the remains of Maxilos with no sign of Makuta's essence and wondering where he went?
