okay but this song is SO slept on. the muted piano is fucking amazing the drums are actually insanely good the low tom and kick combos remind me of songs like sing sing sing, which its totally trying to mimick all of the melodies are completely unique but also jazzy and reminiscent of big jazz band songs like zoot suit riot and the offbeat clapping that comes in later just reinforces that and makes it even cooler i want to see this performed by an actual big jazz band, it would be fucking awesome

The great thing about this song is, if you look at the individual components, there is no way it should work.
