Same here! Looking up 90's stuff I found a blog post on girls fashion from back in the day.. man did girls dress cute back then! Totally brought be back to my huge high school crush on the pretty girl in my grade, Katie, and all the hp dresses she wore. She was the first girl I saw wear knee high socks , like Alicia Silverstone did in clueless, and man did she look amazing. She wore this back and red plaid super tight short miniskirt, babydoll blouse, and black knee high socks with funky heels that day and it is burned into my brain forever.. *sigh* Teacher totally tried to bust her for her skirt being "too short" lol.. best school day ever!

He was watching the opening band, a guy came to stand next to him and said "You like these guys? I think they're pretty good, huh?" My brother said "Yeah, they're good, but I'm here for Toad." The guy said "Oh yeah? Me too!" Laughed and gave by SB a bro punch to the arm. My SB looked over at the guy and realized it was Glen Phillips(the lead singer) He'd been talking to. He said "Hey! I was at a party at a restaurant-night club and I was sat down in a table and I asked a waiter where was Aron piper at ,as I couldn’t find him anywhere . So he just replied : isn’t he there pointing with his finger and I looked at what he was pointing and wow I couldn’t believe my eyes I was so excited ,it made me so happy 🙂. He was literally sitting next to me but I was really awkward to talk to him . I only took photos and a video . An unforgettable and beautiful experience.

I didn't care much for these guys back in the 90s but as I've grown older I've developed a huge appreciation for just how talented they really were. Same goes for bands like Blues Traveler, Gin Blossoms, and The Dave Mathews Band. The 90s was truly the last great decade for music of all types unlike the cookie-cutter BS that flies out of the radio these days. There's still some very talented musicians in the new generations but they're becoming fewer and farther between unfortunately.
@ninja_tony3 жыл бұрын
I totally agree. I know it's super cliched to say you miss the days you grew up in, and everyone does it ,but it's really true. I grew up in the 90's, and I love all kinds of music from so many genres and generations, but the 90's truly was the last great decade. Obviously, before someone tries to nitpick what I'm saying, yes there's SOME good music in the last 20 years, but the decline since the turn of the millennium has been quite noticeable, and the 90s were such a magical, creative time. I didn't even realize it when I was living it.
