The difference was NA could take an L. Look at the first 3 hours of the server start. NA got shit on hard. The 4th hour was when NA decided to actually group up and retaliate and that's when all the bs started. NA played for the content, the Spanish played for the W. I guarantee you if they ran it back but handicapped NA and gave every "advantage" to the Spanish, the NA side would still have more fun.

@itsalejandroe2 жыл бұрын
If people even tried to understand why the Spanish team is complaining and not say we're complaining about everything things would be different. Nobody complained about the train station pvp because it was fair from both parties, the rest of the thing not so much. Obviously NA is having fun since they're hosting the event and don't have a language barrier with the admins and are in an advantage in many ways. And mendo and coconut throwing more toxicity, hate and racism towards the Spanish community doesn't help either, mendo has been going with the passive agressive comments since the event started and no one from the NA team has told him to chill out... Its sad that this is an event to help bring the community closer but letting the toxicity go for so long and having admins that don't even understand both parties ruined it

When someone break Twitch TOS in an event hosted by Twitch (no Twitch Spain) it has deeper repercusions informally; if there will be any future ban, what I doubt, is just a by product; in how things are handled from now on. And from twitch perspective it looks really bad for the Spanish streamers, that positions themselves in a brand risk position. I'm sure you already know that they are in a private discord where they can talk about it without their chat scalating in chat bombing other streams. Don't like the situation, admire some NA and Hispanic rust streamers for long time, but the event organization was a joke. I don't support the drama in global chat, it was disappointing by members of both teams, as spanish personally didn't like Ricoy's attitude in the global chat, Panpots or Stratus, I didn't like the attitude of other NA streamers either It isn't a question of whether the problem comes from the Hispanic community or from the American community, remember, streamers are individuals and represent themselves If some streamer talk disrespecting isn't blame of the community and either blame the team, I don't consider myself a fanatic enough to support someone from my country no matter how stupid their ideas seem to me The team didn't stop play cause of what Ricoy or Alexby said, some wanted to finish the event and others wanted to play until the end, it was decided to vote among the team, generally they were tired of the fact that the rules only existed until someone on the NA team broke them, the first day was with primitive weapons like bow, melee, revolver and level 1 items in general. but some spanish players saw NA players using syringes, pythons (T2 weapon) and HQ chest (T3 armor),when spanish team recover the only scrap heli on the map, NA team have permision from admins to buy scrap helis, NA team raid houses despawn with the loot and raiders inside and inmediatly appears another box at the map while the administrator told the Hispanics that they had to break all the boxes so that the house would despawn. when spanish team was dominating the oil rig and they were winning on the scoreboard the admins for some reason that nobody knows, it doesn't allow them to make more oil rigs anymore there are many people playing and it's difficult for any of them to have a mistake or not remember the rules, rust is a game where it's easy to lose your temper and suddenly become a toxic person for a moment.from my point of view, I think i should have a simpler rule and let rust be rust, a game like rust isn't it can be so capped or limited in a competitive event. xGuiry did going deep in NA base and they was penalizated, that things sucks man, thats the real rust essence, I guess the admins would have done it with their best intentions but the organization could have been much better and with better ideas. Would have been easier No raid first day workbench lvl 1 - 12 hours workbench lvl 2 - 12 hours workbench lvl 3 - 24 hours Only with that rule is a fun event guaranteed Anyway the pvp was great content and I keep the good times I don't consider the event to fight between communities and blame each other my respects to spoonkid, blooprint and impheetus for walking away from the drama, the mg and enjoying the game, probably many of the na team did too, but I only saw those 3... Win or lost NA has the most character and admirable reactions. I would say that like 30 out of 40 of Spain are new, just also wanted to have fun and play the game but it's so sad why they have to quit just because of the disrespect and unfair they're talking about. They could've spent their time being positive and actually doing something to get back on track and if some of na players weren't actually toxic to them and tried to explain more because they were the one who has better understanding of the situation. Being the mature one they could've just understand them let them be for the sake of not ruining the fun of the event. That's how the world works unfortunately-toast.

The thing is that a big portion of any gaming community in Spain is toxic af. They are disrespectful to anyone that is not playing how they want. For example: If you have the bad luck of being French and playing against them or even in the same team as them you will be be flamed on constantly and blamed for their mistakes. The word “Güiri” many of the hispanic streamers used during Rivals is a disrespectful word for foreigner.

The spanish community has always been a PTW mentality. As someone who speaks both languages the eng streamer community has always been more “wholesome” (Although let’s be honest it gets pretty bad sometimes) compared to the hispanic streamer community. And this is coming from someone who watches the same amount of eng and esp streamers.

The rules were not crystal clear and apparently neither side can behave like adults and address the issues. It doesn't help that during the first negotiation the translator could barely speak Spanish. If you're going to have an event between two different regions you should have already taken into account the language barrier and have put in place plans to establish a line of communication where the issues are solved. Since they appear to be children, give each side a quiz to see if they understood the rulings. ffs
