Wow this was surprising from Charlie. From the clips I watched avout ser winter's "toxicity" I was biased against him myself. It took me about 10-20 minutes of watching Ser Winter's video to see that Ser Winter was in the right here. Trainwrecks was being a complete asshole, enough people have explained that.. As for the kill on xQc, Ser Winter went to a PVP zone where he heard gunshots. He literally ran away from xqc once he realized it was him, seemingly to avoid more drama. Xqc gallopped his horse over to Ser Winter with his bow drawn, and Winter shotgunned him. Idk X was kind of trying to RP maybe? But Winter not being familiar with RP and primarily being a Rust player, that behavior from X is a huge red flag that you're about to get killed. Is Winter supposed to just bow down and hope x doesnt kill him and just RPs on a PVP server? If any one watches X's RP on GTA, he makes very questionable decisions that are borderline RDM himself, pretty biased for X viewers to come attack Ser Winter on his stream for simply protecting himselg. Then the situation with LuluLovely, Winter was pretty worked up from being bullied in chat and every thing, and sort of made a judgment error by "RPing as a caveman". He says in the video it was the one kill he actually felt bad about and later he made up with Lulu and apologized. For the rest of the video he avoided any one that he KOS'd in the beginning, when he didn't understand the rules (because he wasnt invited to the discord), just to avoid any drama. Sometimes Ser Winter would die from kill-on-sighters because he was trying to decide whether or not he should shoot, yet he was the one who got banned and blamed when he RP'd way more than most people in the North. In fact, I didn't plan on watching the entirety of Winter's video, just wanted to get his perspective, however, I got sucked in to his 2 hour long video and was sad when it ended, which goes to show how good his content was. When he went South and had all those wholesome moments whilst talking about his war-flogged time in the North and acted like he had PTSD, that was awesome. Not to mention all that fun he had in the North despite the dramatic BS. Then they ban and blame Ser Winter, when his content, both RP and PVP, was arguably some of the best on the server. I watched some of the bigger streamers gameplay and they actually killed on sight nearly the whole time, way more than Winter, whilst Winter did so very sparingly after understanding the rules, yet he gets banned? All this very clearly shows how biased the comminity is towards bigger streamers. All this has wildly changed my perspective on a lot of the bigger streamers and the Twitch community as a whole. What a sad situation.

I came to the realisation that these content creators sell themselves out pretty easily, you can tell when they care more about the clout and money because they are streaming all day every day and streaming themselves doing just about anything even if its not playing video games. On youtube they pump out videos daily and generate drama constantly to keep themselves talked about. These people should be avoided, dont give them a view, dont discuss them, let them do their thing alone in the dark. People like Ser Winter or Stimpee are content creators who do it for fun and a laugh and the profit on the side is a nice bonus for them, they do what they love and love it when others enjoy it too. People like xQc are in it for fame and money, xQc has basically no real personality outside of angsty, angry dude playing vidya.

Someone shows up with an insult that hits you right where it hurts without them knowing a single thing about you as they shoot you and steal ur stuff that you spend hours collecting, you bounce back take revenge and level their entire base as they squeal and call you all kinds of racist slurs with a tone that sounds as if they're about to cry and you just bathe in their salt.

I'm a rust player, I'm not toxic or racist. at the start I did think about the server not being real, I thought about it and understood that its okay to make a privet server to have fun and role play BUT most of the big streamers community are little kids(12-) and they will pay the 40$ for the game, they will think they can role play like the streamers but they will be killed every 5 mins so I think every streamer should at least mention that its not the "real rust expiries". most of them doesnt have the money to buy a privet server. I have 600 hours on the game and I have a lot of fun playing it.

I’ve owned rust for 4 years, and the community has definitely changed a lot over the years. It used to be less toxicity and more just trash talking each other on how bad you were, and now it’s gotten pretty bad like you said. If people want to make their own private server, go for it, I don’t blame you. Rust has some losers who played the game 18 hours a day and make it unfun because they stay up all night getting better stuff and raiding you while you’re at work or school. Personally, I sort of just disliked the fact that the more og Rust content creators such as (Some may have skins, forgive me if I say they do not) Welyn, Stevie, Blooprint, Frost, Hjune, Posty, Trausi, etc do not have skins featured but then comes in the OTV and other streamers such as Shroud and Jack to get skins when they begin streaming Rust. Now, I do not know if there are circumstances where they do not care or if they have to do something in particular to get a skin added, so it could make my comment invalid if there is. But, it seems like Swales is getting a skin, which is something that will hopefully get the others to get their skins. I understand that these are twitch drops, but to my understanding so is Swales’ skin. Which then begs the question: Why the new Rust streamers first and the OG ones second? Finally, I would like to say it is great for Rust to have all this publicity, hopefully would have more filled servers, but it would have been nice for the game to blow up due to its own self rather than due to a massive blowup. Fun fact, Ser Winter never bush camp, he went into a bush to hide from a person with a gun and was shooting, killed the person with the gun, and was planning to pick him up, but Train (The person killed) was being rude to him and in response Winter killed him. Train then went onto chat to harrass Winter for "Bush camping and tbagging him" which if you watched Winter's vods he didn't do any of those. He even offered to show Train his side of the story which train refused to see it. And 9/10 I bet Train would've killed Winter of given the chance. And before the train drama Ser Winter also didn't mindless kill Garrett who people were saying he was a naked. Truth is Garrett was in a Hazmat and hiding by a street, Winter who wasn't expecting him shot Garrett and the two exchanged a few shots but Garrett was killed, Garrett then went to chat and harassed Winter. Winter frustrated killed a random naked which in his video address the drama said it was stupid and he regretted it. In fact the player killed in that situation met Winter again and Winter apologized for it and she accepted the apology and it was over. I recommend Winter's 2 hour long video in the matter which shows his vods and his explanation and how much of a dick everyone was to him.

I've never watched "Ser Winter" (the guy who got banned) or heard of him before, but I just watched his POV of his entire stream and it's insane how wrongly he was painted when he literally only killed in the PVP zone and even there he was pretty tame, and he still RP'd a lot too. It was the louder voices of some of the bigger streamers that painted him as a sweaty bushcamper, when he never even bushcamped (he was running down the road after hearing shots and saw someone in the PVP zone before they saw him so he stepped into the bush for 3 seconds - you can count - to get a better vantage point). Watch the VOD on his youtube channel, he was legit so tame relative to people like xQC who kill on sight 24/7. It's so frustrating to see.

So heres the issue. The person in question was given conflicting rules prior to entering the game. He wasn't invited to the discord It was literally one kill where one person hid in a bush for 4 seconds. Then after learning the true nature of the server he started playing by the rules. And XQC's group was notably one of the more aggressive groups so if you tried to talk to him and it didn't go his way you were pretty much guaranteed to get shot.
