This happened recently to RatedEpicz (Randy in GTA RP). his mods have a secret discord where they would shit talk his streamer friends and "fake hating" other streamers, for example, they were about to frame his best friends (Chang Gang) and make them looks bad and also they made fake Valkyrae stan accounts and start attacking other streamers on Twitter and Twitch to make Rae's community looks bad

That was so bad.. I remember when the streamer that these people were attacking pretending to be rae fans their chat said rae stans are worse than dream stans. And rae cried that day and was so upset of her community she removed the sun emoji from her twitter. And the whole community was so sad and confused as to who was saying all these. This lead to the reveal of the mod thing.. Imagine having to go to such extents.

It's a multi-platinum song with close to half a billion views on YT alone. If anything it adds to the stigma of "crazy fan" and elevates it to "obsessed psychopathic fan"

I've literally seen people insulting a person who said they casually watch Dream. Fans of certain things are seen as stans by other people, and it's not a good thing. By the way, I'm not defending the word stan. In fact, I hate how the word is now used to describe a "super fan." I especially hate how it's used as a verb.
