Thanks man... I figured people always wonder about the stuff that comes with these budget guitars... I this case, it's all decent. Not great or amazing quality, but decent! Haha

Wow! There’s definitely a LOT of value in this package! Sure, they’re all pretty basic, bare-bones accessories, and not the kind of things you’d ever want to take to a gig, but they’re surprisingly DECENT, especially the stand and the amp-they’re clearly perfect for a beginner, or even just for someone wanting to jam or practice alone without getting too loud. That blues jam you did was AMAZING, by the way-as I keep saying, you are obviously one heck of an instinctive player!

By the way, I definitely look forward to seeing what you do with the guitar, although I think the pickups and electronics are the ONLY things that are really holding it back from its full potential. I wonder if you could put REAL JM pickups in it-JM pickups are wider range, more “HiFi” than P90’s or Tele pickups,, and they could make that guitar a legitimate chicken picking machine that might even beat a Telecaster. Barring that, I actually happen to have a Wilkinson Mini-Humbucker and a Telecaster Bridge pickup set here that I forgot about… This might just be a KILLER combination! Mini humbuckers are a drop in replacement into P90 routes, and are actually BRIGHTER sounding than either regular humbuckers OR P90’s-they’re actually close to single coils for spank, but with greater midrange and bass content, with a really cool sound all their own! Not sure if it’s economical for me to ship them to you there in PEI though.

@@zuperdee thanks for the offer but I have a bunch of pups here... I would just need to rout a custom pickguard as nothing I have here would fit the original. These pups are wider than a humbucker, yet narrower than a dog Ear, and they adjust from the top of the pickup cover... I definitely do not have a drop in replacement...

@@j-man9457 Yeah, the pickguard is undoubtedly unique to this model, which is kind of annoying, since this means you can’t just use a standard pickguard for a Jazzmaster, Telecaster, or even a Fender/Squier Paranormal Offset Telecaster. I think what you’ll have to do is get a sheet of blank pickguard material, trace the outline of the original pickguard onto that, mark the location of the original mounting holes, then find the appropriate template to trace the cutouts for whatever kind of pickups and bridge hardware you want to use. You’ll undoubtedly need a countersink drill bit to drill the holes for the mounting screws, and ideally a drill press or if you don’t have one, then maybe a “portalign” drill guide tool to ensure that you get the countersinking perfectly straight. You’ll also want a jigsaw to cut the edges at a 45 degree angle, so that you don’t get sharp edges.

@@zuperdee I already have a blank 3 ply sheet of pickguard material and I have a friend who has a CNC machine in his shop, so cutting out a new pickguard will not be a problem hahaha Or I may just get some custom pickups made by my friend at PegCity Pickups that I can just drop in there!

Hey Jason! Pretty cool little package. For not a lot of cash... a guy could have some fun with this little package. The guitar looks decent for sure - and is probably a great mod platform. And the amp is... well it is "what it is," right? But still pretty cool - esp with the blue0tooth feature. Not bad at all ! Hope all is well up there, Buddy.

Love the looks of that guitar! That bag looks better than the one that came with the Luckwbq guitar I gambled on. Cord looks pretty much the same. It’s pretty amazing how decent these budget guitars can be

Not only is the guitar a good value, that little Blue Tooth amp is perfect for backing tracks or just using it as a speaker. That stnd was cool, too. A real nice buy for someone starting out or just someone who would like the Jazzmaster vibe without a hefty price tag! Great demo, J! (I'd use the strap, but probably as something to take camping.)
