I loved this demo then and still love it now... every part is brilliant both technically and artistically.

This surely was one of the things that pushed the envelope back then. The feeling when you saw these effects (mostly the rollercoaster) for the first time on the big screen, woah!

dude, that IS one of the best demos I've ever seen. I can't believe at the end it's a fucking coaster on a voxel height map. I was not expecting that. I can't believe this is '96. Makes me feel like computers are so wasted these days. I remember playing the first 3d rollercoaster tycoon and it didn't get this many frames per second. Granted there are legitimate reasons for this but still, can you imagine if EVERYTHING was still coded with assembly? Would quadruple power.

@axelei I saw it as a kid and it actually determined my whole life. It sucked me nto programming into demoscene and coding. I'm 27 years old now and it was the best possible life path for me :)
