TOASTED SANDWICHES 4 WAYS | Kerry Whelpdale

Today I am sharing 4 ways in which we love toasties! Toasties are a firm favourite in our household and what we love, is how versatile they are.. you can have one every day, and it be different every single time!!!

Fillings:
Roasted veggies:
red onion, courgette, peppers (red and yellow), olive oil, mixed herbs, salt & pepper, halloumi, balsamic glaze, roll
Spinach & feta:
Spinach, feta cheese, salt & pepper, extra virgin olive oil, roll
Caprese:
On the vine tomato, mozzarella, fresh basil, balsamic glaze, roll
Peanut butter & banana:
Peanut butter, sliced banana, pitta pocket

Hey Kerry, hope you’re well I’m happy, good and well thank you good morning love this 4 Toastie sandwich filling ideas video. So glad and happy I really enjoyed all of the toastie filling ideas. I love toasted wraps or toasted bread but the best way to have them in my opinion is heat up the wrap or toastie first on the hob and then you can add your fillings into it. We have a toastie maker and it’s really good! You can also toastie bread in it! The Roasted vegetable and halloumi, caprese, Feta cheese and spinach toastie and Peanut butter and banana toastie are lovely! I didn’t like the peanut butter and banana toastie as well. Here is a tip for the feta cheese. If the feta cheese is salty then I would recommend putting it into some water to let out some of salty taste for a few minutes before adding into bread or wraps too. Toasties are my firm favourite in our household and we also like how versatile it is to make and you can make every single time. My favourite was the caprese, feta cheese and spinach and the roasted vegetable snd halloumi toasties too. Here are some more toasties to try out next time! Cheese tomato and mozzarella, plain cheese and butter, minced beef and cheese tuna and cheese chicken fajita ham and cheese plus the baked bean and cheese toasties. I saw the baked bean and cheese toastie from Jamie Oliver channel and it look delicious.
