Not exactly old roblox, but one of my favorite roblox games is called "Times of Change" It's more of an art piece then a true game, depicting the transition from old to new Roblox as the fall of Rome by showing a decaying ancient Roman city. As someone who briefly played Roblox around 2012 then rejoined in 2015, it's representation felt especially impactful for me.

I miss the 2012-2017 era of Roblox, although I don’t play anymore I remember my own place was a block world (similar to a Minecraft world) I was obsessed with the build to survive games, adopt a family and the hide and seek as furniture game. This video brought back to many memories.

18:35 FYI, that model is called “Visorak Oohnorak”, and is a model inspired by the LEGO Bionicle set of the same name released in 2005. There’s also five other models that exist with different colors but identical shapes to this one that depict the five other “Visorak” sets that were released in 2005. I can’t recall who created them at the moment, but I’m sure if you searched on the Models catalogue you’d find them.

You should create a video on the topic of Roblox v. Blockland. This topic is hardly ever covered and I think there is a lot of interesting lore to uncover. Roblox even used a lot of the same assets from Blockland back in the day, such as the original skybox among other things (it is unclear to me whether they were royalty free assets or if Roblox stole them from Blockland). Also the Building Room starter place from 3/31/06 is also clearly inspired by Blockland.

despite joining roblox in 2015 i think the history of roblox is genuinely so fascinating, i think its insane how so many bits and pieces of it are just missing because they were never archived by anyone because im sure archiving things in the early 2000s wasnt really a thought that crossed some peopleon the internet's minds. plus its cool to know how far the game has come! i know its common knowledge to know that alot of people are unhappy with how far roblox has strayed from its original look but i think their change is interesting when you look at it from the perspective of how much this game has changed and grown from day one the feeling of anemoia people get from seeing old roblox history is INSANE. im guilty of it myself

sometimes i regret not joining roblox earlier, i played as a guest for over 6 months before i knew you could make an account, so i joined in roughly april of 2017. i've heard of roblox years before that though, and something tells me id be better at sword fighting if i did lol edit: i wouldn't have been able to join in 2009, we had no computer, and i was literally 2-3 years old respectively
