Wait okay so , newegg's (and b&h's) cheapest price for the 1070 is $310 plua the $120 that the ryzen 3 3100 is at this point plus the $250 (and 250 dollars is a bit optimistic) for storage , motherboard , case , ram , And power supply.In total all of that is more towards $700 so my thought is how in the world can you get such quality parts for $600?

The prices seem to be coming down a bit now that Christmas is over... Though the 3100 is still way too much to be a consideration, ryzen 5 3600 is $50 more on newegg. Finding a GPU is absolutely terrible nowadays, I ended up sucking it up and getting a rx580 4gb to hold me over I think 3gb 1060s are also an option but you're not getting past 1080p with either one. The best advice in my opinion is hang off til summer if you can, by that point the shiny factor will wear off on a lot of stuff people got over Christmas (cyberpunk included) and hopefully have some more deals out there.

You can get a Ryzen 7 2700 (8C, 16T, 4.2GHz OC) for $130 on AliExpress, my brother did that and it's fine, watch some techyescity vids if you're sceptical. Pair that with a $200 used 1070ti and a $25 dual-fan snowman t6 cooler and you have 2x the spec for the same price

I need help I don't know which cpu I should get. It's either an i5-10400 or an i5-9600k. But I could also get a R5 3600. I'm gonna be running a RX 5700 XT and 16gb of ram as well. I'm really just waiting til black Friday hits to get whichever one's cheaper. I also have a microcenter close to me so I could get bundles of a cpu and a motherboard over there for like 20-30 cheaper. I honestly don't think the Ryzen 3600 will get a discount because they keep being sold out on PC part picker. So I'm debating whether to just go with intel. Both the i5-10400 and the i5-9600k is 150 dollars at microcenter but I just don't know. Need some guidance. Oh and I it's strictly gaming that I'm using the PC for and as well as school.
