Thank you for appreciating us Justin. More power to you. Growing up as a teenager in the Philippines, I sing in a choir @ 30-40 members in our local church. I remember we’d harmonize any songs by ear and arrange all just by ourselves. It’d turn out really nice and we love it and laugh about it with approval. Modestly speaking. It was so much fun! I’m thankful for the new technology today that many foreigners are now noticing our talents. It wasn’t like these before. I’m now a senior citizen and so proud of our young Pinoys today. At the end of the day, we are a thankful nation giving all praise to God above.

I remember I joined the choir during my high school days just to be exempted in music subject😂. I joined singing contest in one of the radio station when I was on my 4th grade and won. I love singing. Now I can’t sing the same thing I use to do after I got Covid 3-4 years ago that’ I end up being admitted 10 days in Hospital (on my 3rd day the consultant transferred me to ICU). Now I got issues with my breathing. All Filipinos love to sing. This is our way of connecting to people. We are always happy and resilient people. Thank you for your compliments❤

How can we not develop a talent in singing, every event that we go to, there's always karaoke! 🤣🤣🤣 Birthdays, Christmas parties, Christening, reunions, simple get togethers, office team buildings, holidays, etc. Even if you don't want to sing, your peeps will definitely coerce, force, pressure you into singing, then you'll realize, "well, this is fun!" and do it again. 🤣 I am an introvert, and man, I tell you... Back then I really only sing in the shower, but then as I got older and frequented these parties, people kept on asking for me to sing, so I did, and I surprisingly enjoyed it. They were surprised that I can sing. I am quite surprised too at what I can do. 😅 Now, I get a bit excited going to such events because I get to sing and have fun with the people I love. 😊

May be you should also check out singers from Nagaland. I should say Nagas are born singers, they are natural singers, no formal singing training or coaching, they can just sing. Singing is part of our culture. It's sad very talented singers from there haven't been discovered by the world.
