Go to CEBU, Philippines. Singers in the Philippines are having hard time pleasing them. Only few singers can make the concert hall full. Morissette is from cebu.

The Visayas region! When I visited Cebu, I was invited to sing in a karaoke bar. All the Cebuanos that were there, all sang good!

This may come in too late, but to answer your question- come to Cebu. While you would see this calibre of talent almost anywhere a karaoke is set up, Cebu is known to produce great local artists. I've been here for the past 7 years , and I'm still at awe whenever I'm at a mall or whenever there's a festival.Just yesterday, my cousin and I were at the foodcourt in SM Seaside and there was a live performance - just a singer and a guitarist - both singing songs, a duet at times, all for the entertainment of an ordinary crowd on an ordinary Sunday. But wherever you decide to go, I sure hope you'll find what you're looking for. Let me know :)

I LOVE BEVERLY! She's a Filipina pop singer based in Japan under the Avex Trax label. She is known for her various soundtrack appearances, such as "Be the One" in Kamen Rider Build and "Again" from the anime Fruits Basket. She was discovered by Shun Oguri (Gintama) who introduced her to the producer of Crisis: Special Security Squad. I just laugh whenever I see Western people reacts with all this random filipino singing everywhere and have this amazing, raw voices. Visit bars with stand up comedians and a band.. They have karaoke there too for those who wants to jam with them. All of those people can sing so well... its no secret that almost all filipino population knows how to sing. even the most ordinary of ordinary people in the philippines can sing better and belt higher than some professional singers locally or internationally. they just decide not to pursue singing as their career because the level of competition in this country in terms of singing is unimaginable. thats why some even go to other countries just to try their luck there. 😂

Sometimes I'd get hecklers passing by outside the house when I do videoke. I'd hear them yelling in praise saying " ang galing ni kuya " lol 😅 there's quite a few awesome ladies i hear around my area belting out their best and makes me feel the urge to visit and do a duet with them lol.
